Always eat 3 square but don't stuff yourself. Eat less than you normally would.

Don't and then go to sleep. Give yourself at least 3 hours before bedtime.

Exercise. I suggest getting up and doing cardio in the mornings.

If you're a drinker then switch to the hard stuff.

Its all about what you eat.

Dont eat in between meals, this means only eat breakfast(BIG BREAKFAST BUT NOT OVER THE TOP ie. NOT SHITLOADS OF BACON OR ANYTHING ELSE OBVIOUSLY FATENING) eat lunch 1 large sandwiche(meat, salad) or 2 salad only/tuna sandwiches. For dinner eat a reasonable amount of food, ie dont eat 2 steaks when 1 will satisfy. They say to only eat a piece of meat for dinner the size of the palm of your hand and width.

Don't go and get chocolate biscuits in between meals, if you hungry in between meals go and have an apple, banana, pear or carrot.

I guess it depends how much you love your food, whether or not you will lose weight. If you can ... go to the gym and walk 5miles a week(not much at all, will only take an hour total)

I am drinking Nothing but Water. And Skim Milk.

I only Eat Salads and soup.

I cut my Cals a day from 4,000 to 660 a day

It's been 4 days. and I am fucking starving.

Eat smaller meals.
Chew your food better.
No eating for at least 3 hours before bed.
Drink more water.
Exercise every day in some way. For lifting weights, less weight for more reps.
Follow through, don't get soft on it.

right on that you are focused on shaping yourself up to you're liking. however, 660 calories a day is way low. you could easily take in 1200 a day and still loose the weight effectively.
i would just be afraid that at that super low intake you're body might send signals that it is in starvation mode and in turn influence you to quite the diet altogether.
the body has amazing defense mechanisms.

First, start eating the way you have to maintain your desired weight.

If you are just going to gain it back, then it is better to now loose it.

Do this for two months. If all is well you should have lost some weight just by doing this.

Increase your activity a bit, cut out a bit more food and alkeehwal and you will be fine.

If you must start loosing quickly, I like the fast two days a week approach.

Drinking lots of water alone will make you loose weight. If you consume 2 litres + of water per day then your body has no need to store water as you drink enough and will then flush it out your system causing you to loose weight.

I play soccer a lot more now and I am losing weight. I still eat the same but since I play 4 hours per week my belly is leaving me and my sides are shaping up again real nice

Gonna start going back to the gym every morning - Mon - Fri - with my girlfriend. That will help me a lot as well.

I was actually about 190 lbs 2 summers ago when I went on a really hardcore diet and started working out. Lost about 50 lbs in 4 months which was a little too far I thought, so I gained a little back and I'm up to about 160lbs now. The way I did it was I went on a low carb / high protein diet mixed in with 10km runs every other day. Lots of fruit, vegetables and protein based foods instead of carbs. Since then, I've just eaten healthier and managed to stay around the 160 range. Much happier this way

New Year, I was 195 lbs , 6 ' . All my excess weight was in the stomach region. Pants: 36"

Decided to lose weight: Today 167 lbs, pants : 31-32 and still 6'

Food: no more bread, butter, cakes, chocolate bars, french fries, fried food, fast food,chips, pasta, pizza and soft drinks ...
Now I eat lean meat, salads with veggies, drink water ( and wine ...) low fat cereals for breakfeast, do my own salad dressing ( oil olive, vinegar, mustard, garlic, spices) and so on...
At night, I eat a decent meal, but with no excess: I do not feel stuffed


Exercise:Feet under a pece of furniture for situps: could barely do 5, now I do 30 a day. A bit a small weights for upper torse, arms, etc... and now bicycling.


I am also probably older than all of you .... but not together...

get a $20 george foreman grill, go to the grocery store and pick up some greens and low fat turkey or chicken, then use your new grill to cook it. Make sure to drink lots of water and as for workouts, just run a whole lot until you cant take anymore then run back to your house for a shower and more GFY

When did you start? Assuming you just started you probably haven't already lost 4.5 pounds. Your weight can flucuate 5-10 pounds a day just from water weight differences. Also, if you're losing more than 4 pounds a week, it will most likely come back.

It's great that you're eating. You should increase your water intake and make sure you're taking in enough solid food. Don't starve yourself. If you don't eat much your brain will believe you're starving and can turn any incoming food into fat for longterm storage (even an apple!). Try eating lots of negative calorie foods (raw carrots, spinach, brocolli) whenever hungry. These foods take more calories to digest than they contain and you can eat as much as you want without gaining weight. Don't forget to also take vitamins.

Your body needs at least 800 calories a day to support the heart. When you take in less, it slowly starts to deteriorate your heart. 4000 calories is a LOT. Go get Xenical. It prevents your body from being able to digest about a third of the fat that you consume. Take Xenical for a couple of days, then go eat something greasy (like you probably normally eat) and then enjoy shitting hot grease. I promise you will change your eating habits after that. Xenical makes you afraid to eat anything that isn't good for you.

1st step... read the labels of what your eating. Take in less calories then you are burning, and stay away from anything that says "High Fructose Corn Syrup , partially hydrogenated, or shortening".

Eat small portions of something healthy every 3 hours. Also add 30-45 min of high intensity cardio 4-6x a week. Do these things and you'll become an athlete.

I am one of those guys who justs likes to eat. i am currently 18 stones 6 ft tall and 38" waist. my girlfriend has forced me on a diet with her. according to the books i should be around 10 stones for my height, that means i would have to loose 8 stones. thats alot! but u know what, i am gonna do it. not just for her but for myself. she doesnt have to loose much, couple stones.

as for exercise, i hate running but i can do over 100 sit ups no worries press ups i like to hate, i can do 50 no worries but i hate them too.

i am so lazy i dont understand it myself.

i just wanna loose weight so i can fit in nice clothes. plus i made a promise to myself! if i loose all my weight and be the weight i should be, i will buy myself a brand new bmw 330 convertable. black. now thats driving me crazy, i got a goal now i gota make it.

thats my advice set urself targets and go for it! once u made those targets set different ones.

one big word for u to remember, MODERATION eat only with moderation, and as my dad used to say to me, stop eating when ur still hungry. go for it

I kept it simple. Eating 6 to 7 meals a day. Limiting my caloric intake. I even did some Atkins experimentation, found with Atkins that when I went back to eating carbs I got a little soft fast. So I changed that and keep my protein intake high and now just watch the calories. Keep the meals frequent and in the past few weeks have been influencing more calories to try and put on some muscle size. So far so good.

I am also very active. Soccer twice a week, Ice Hockey, and I workout 5-6 days a week, picked up a Bowflex a few months back and that thing is great as long as you use it.

Eat a ballanced diet. Make sure you burn more calories than you consume each day. Eat small frequent meals with lots of water and chew slowly.

go to the store buy some fitness stuff
put in your basement
and start your body workout every 2nd day you make
your traioning .. for more details hit me up , I make you a personal
trainig plan
do that workout for 6 months and you'll see bets results.

The most important thing is :
discipline, do it regulary ..

Drink it ALL day long, and I mean ALL day long LOL

No sodas...the sodium and caffeine make you retain fluids(bloated)

If you've been drinking lots of sodas, you'll drop 5 pounds within a few days of switching to water(If you can stand the caffeine headaches)

Ok heres some advice , you can do this one of three ways.. the first one is stop eating! No, Im only kidding.. the real way to lose weight and keep it off is either one of two ways...

Lo carbs high protein.. which can include anything good but no fruits or rice or starches but one time a day.. which can be easy if you save your carbs for the last meal of the day where you can have a big good dinner.. its also about balancing out things.. veggies actually help you lose weight when on a low carb diet ... low in calories and high in fiber and vitamins... but also be sure to take a vitamin... multi vitamin a day.. examples of low carb diet..
breakfast eat... eggs and bacon ... no toast or anything like that, no fruit because the sugar can convert to high calories...
lunch can be anything like lunchmeat with no bread or chicken plain with no rice... or hotdogs ... meats but no rice or starches... or you can even do a nice salad with chicken in it... or whatever..
supper eat whatever your heart damn well pleases starches included...
this is a fast way to lose weight without really suffering too much.. you may miss having cereal and stuff like french toast or pancakes in the morning but you can switch off certain days for starches in the morning instead of at night.
Lastly another way to lose weight is to eat seven small meals a day , combined with exercise and wise eating and your metabolism will speed up..
the crash diets dont work because starving the body puts the body into overload where it will turn on its storages of fat and what you do eat will store as fat instead of burning it off and you will also burn off muscle in the process.. overall starving yourself and eating nothing does no good because when you do eat normal again the weight will come back twice as fast and more!
