Hello everyone, I am dealing with an oil seepage issue at the split line of my worm gearbox ; even after wiping it clean, oil stains reappear within a few days.
Upon disassembly, I found that the factory-applied sealant had hardened due to aging and was peeling away in some areas. The bolt preload was also uneven; the bolts near the oil sight glass were noticeably loose, causing a localized gap at the mating surface.
