When did you start? Assuming you just started you probably haven't already lost 4.5 pounds. Your weight can flucuate 5-10 pounds a day just from water weight differences. Also, if you're losing more than 4 pounds a week, it will most likely come back.

It's great that you're eating. You should increase your water intake and make sure you're taking in enough solid food. Don't starve yourself. If you don't eat much your brain will believe you're starving and can turn any incoming food into fat for longterm storage (even an apple!). Try eating lots of negative calorie foods (raw carrots, spinach, brocolli) whenever hungry. These foods take more calories to digest than they contain and you can eat as much as you want without gaining weight. Don't forget to also take vitamins.

Your body needs at least 800 calories a day to support the heart. When you take in less, it slowly starts to deteriorate your heart. 4000 calories is a LOT. Check here for
