Epoch is waiving their $750, why doesn't CCBill step up to the plate?

I feel like adding another processor, what can CCBill do for me today?

Epoch is after the revshare market that IBill will be giving up.

CCBill owns revshare so why go after it when you already master it?

Epoch does not seem to have much of a market share of the revshare clients and they could gain a bunch by going after the former IBill clients. Plus one could imagin that revshare has to be better for a processors bottom line.

the reason for ccbill to go after those clients is to keep their leadership position.

Hands down, CCBill is the best processor out there! Don't think in small terms about the $750, that's "piker" mentality!! CCBill always pays on time, has courteous and helpful reps and surfers trust them. I've been with them for almost 5yrs and WILL NEVER use another processor to handle the majority of my income

Epoch has extended a very generous gesture to non-Visa registered clients; I suggest that any business in need of a Visa sponsored merchant account take advantage of this. At this point, we do not intend to follow suit.

Tootie, I am sure that Jeff wanted to explain, 1 on 1, what CCBill has to offer webmasters in need of reliable third party processing

I understand, but I'll bet he got alot of people's hopes up, maybe people who were interested in CC Bill as a backup processor or cascading. He did make it seem like he was capable of waiving the fee. I already chose a primary processor for my site a few weeks ago, but having a secondary would have been nice, too.

CC Bill is a great company. I used them for a site a few years ago and I had no complaints at all. I will probably seek CC Bill as my backup when I'm ready for one.

Well, considering this post was made to ask why CCBill wasn't waiving the fee, then he came in and said nothing except to contact him, YEAH, it did sound like he might be talking about waiving the fee.

And I'd rather be a dumbass in the right than an asshole in the wrong anyday.

Wrong again you ignorant fool.

I have no problems with people who disagree with me. It's those who don't have a strong arguement that I tell to shut the fuck up. Try raising a strong, well thought out arguement for once and perhaps I will not chime in with yet another "STFU" in your honor.

If $750 is an issue to people wanting to process through any of the 3rd party billing providers then they should just give up.

The very fact that the remaining 3rd party processors are still fighting to service this industry, we should all be comending rather than trying to save a penny here and a penny there. We all know that the margins in this industry don't require us to penny pinch in this way.

I'm in the UK and have been with CCBill since mid 99, when my first processor went under ,and they told me to try CCBill to take over from them...

They have always been exceptionally good to me and my bad temper.. Specially Jeff and Joel, who never gets a mention... Andrew in accts. always gets me my money when I ask for it without a prob. I've even asked for a payment after a cut off date which they've done for me.

If I was in the States.. I'd pay the $750 as I'd look at it as being part of the CCBill service and not as paying to use Visa. Though if you're just starting up a pay site as a newbie, $750 can be a big lump to pay out in one go...

I'm reading what Jeff posted....there's nothing in his answer that remotely suggests CCBill is offering to waive the fee.

With a very old account number, starting with 900.....CCBill has always been there for us....had us up and running within hours of sypro going down....they have always been a class act....every single one of them.

I process with both companies...I have nothing bad to say about either one of them...and corvett's answer was about the most diplomatic I've seen ...kudos.

CCbill is a good company my friend Mike South uses them and has nothing but praise for them. I can understand not waiving the 750 but a idea could be making it in payments so a smaller webmaster can have that fine company as a option especially where money could be tight in the current climate. .
