    Last year I said The Darkness was the best new UK band and you didn't listen...

    and the year before that I warned that the US would be invaded by Coldplay and no one listened then either. So, give yourselves a break and listen to me this time and prepare yourselves.

    This years best new UK band is - Franz Ferdinand . They will jump the Atlantic sooner or later.

    The album is good too...not a bad track on it.

      My girlfriend made me aware of The Darkness the other day. She made me listen to the CD and watch the video. Worst band.... EVER.

                      The Darkness is hilarious, i can't believe it is a real band, I thought it was a comedic skit when I saw them on MTV. I don't think they are exactly great...

                          might think they suck but that doesn't change the fact that they have been huge seller and award winners...which is what I was talking about in both cases.

                          Oh, and no the guy isn't gay they are just very tongue in cheek..I like 'em and they are very good live but that wasn't the point. I am just forseeing who the big sellers will be.
