Personally the new scary types of movies dont do much for me..all those slashers movies are more funny than scary...but Ghost Ship was a recent one that was pretty good.

Junk was cool - it was like a low budget, gorier version of Resident Evil, but with bank robbers, Yakuza, and flesh eating zombies...
Another Heaven was ok. I hadn't heard anything about either of these films, so I wasn't able to be disapointed.
One thing I learned from reading GFY is that most people hate what I enjoy. So I just bite the bullet and see if I like it, no matter what the popular opinion is.
I see The Ring, 28 Days Later, and Cabin Fever slammed here a lot, but I enjoyed them all. To each their own.Comment

I have a huge affinity for foreign horror and b-movies, so my tastes don't always reflect he "general popuation" and likewise
