minor math.

a worm is at the bottom of a forty meter hole. It can crawl upwards at the rate of four meters in one day, but at night, it slips back three meters. At this rate, how long will it take the worm to crawl out of the hole?

two men aboard a plane flying off the coast of South America at 1500 feet altitude. Both men were in this situation due to a bet. The 1st man claimed that if he dropped a 1 pound steel ball from the plane 6 seconds after the 2nd man dropped a 1 pound sack of feathers, the steel ball would hit the ground first. Which of the two will actually hit the ground first?

Project-Shadow 08-13-2003 10:37 PM

They will both hit the ground at the same time!

freeadultcontent 08-13-2003 10:37 PM

Project-Shadow 08-13-2003 10:38 PM

If you're not considering the wind, the feathers will hit the ground first...I think there's a top speed for falling objects, no matter their weight

freeadultcontent 08-13-2003 10:39 PM

-------- FAC I got one for you ^-^ ------

This is a most unusual paragraph. How quickly can you find out what is so unusual about it? It looks so ordinary you'd think nothing was wrong with it - and in fact, nothing is wrong with it. It is unusual though. Why? Study it, think about it, and you might find out. Try to do it without coaching. If you work at it for a bit it, will dawn on you. So jump to it and try your skill at figuring it out. Good luck - don't blow your cool!

------------

And all you google fucking cheaters quit it :P

completetosser 08-13-2003 10:49 PM

I think we should have a question en francais, s'il vous plait :)

freeadultcontent 08-13-2003 10:49 PM

Dick asked his secertary to make him a coffee. While the secertary was making the coffee, her clip on earring fell into the cup. Even though the cup had coffee in it the earring did not get wet. How?
