not to sound rude and i think this applys to many suicides. i think its was selfish of him to take his life leaving a kid and a wife.

i look at it as the lowest thing you can do in your life, taking the "easy" way out. im not sure what religion its from but they berried suiciders at a different cemetery. anyway sorry to hear the bad news.

One of my girlfriends when I lived in LA had that happen with her brother-in-law. Bob Merrill, the famous songwriter, who wrote Funny Girl, People (People Who Need People), How Much Is That Doggy in the Window, and many others. Super successful guy, had a beautiful wife (my girlfriends sister), a gorgeous home in Beverly Hills, endless money from all the songs he wrote, seemed totally happy. He found out one day he had cancer. So I guess he figured his days were numbered. Got all dressed up. Went out to his car in the driveway, got in, and put a gun to his head and kaboom. Bye bye Bob. Nobody could figure out why he did it in the car, but I figured he didn't want to mess up the walls and carpet of their nice house with his brain. Fucked up.

Bad news is hitting me from all sides lately. Sorry for your loss Quiet.

Lightning told me the other day that his mom passed away suddenly. Two of my own beloved uncles passed away recently, and my mom has been feeling very sick for over 2 months now. Must look and hunt around for the good news in life to keep the balance.

Further to: this VtheP/Spazm guy.... he is claiming to be the one hacking Hungryman's site, and has told me on ICQ that sleazy and possibly DH are next. He apparently wants some sort of payment to make him stop hacking GFY'ers. I am doubtful that anyone here will ever pay him. It was quite intesting ICQ-ing with him though. Quite interesting.

Sorry to hear about this. Stress can bring any good man down. Combine it with a vulnerable personality and/or drug/alcohol use and you have a potential brain chemistry altering situation, or at least one needing medical intervention. there has been a lot of death in my family over the last year. All were natural deaths but living so far away I have felt helpless. With each other my grandparents my father said 'don't worry, you don't have to come'.

Screw that, I got on the plane the next day and went. Then on the way home from the airport my mother tells me that all my dad said after my grandfather died was 'I want Sarah home'.

In other words he was lying not to put me out - get in the car (which I am hoping you have already) and go. Not only is it the right thing to do but it sometimes helps for people to see all their family in one place. In their mind if they can see you, they know you are alright. Now is the time when people can't help their minds going to dark places. Be together and help snap each other back.

If you don't look at it as a "sinful" act -- to me at least it seems more of an act of bravery -- willfully facing the unknown. You can say it is selfish to take your own life -- BUT who is REALLY the sefish one? You want somebody to live just so you won't be sad? ...just so you won't have a difficult life without that person living? Suicide can be sad -- but really who is the final word on stupidity?
