I have a rich friend that knows nothing about the biz, but he knows that I do - He's agreed to throw in as much money as it takes to get this all up and running. We're talking about a professionally built paysite and the right promotion to make it happen. Maybe even a few paysites - and a multi-tier affiliate program. I'm fuckin excited!

I've been in a few different areas of this industry for a few years now and I pretty much know where most of the best resources are out there for the content, designers, billing services, etc. - but I'd like to get your guys opinion.

Anyone got any pearls of wisdom on a 'course of action' here?

The general rules for business apply even in this wild and wooly biz.

Since you have an unlimited source of funds, get the best designs possible and find one or two of the hottest marketing guys that you can get to join your team. I think one might be free right now. Because this is a business in which every person involved in the organizations usually know quite a bit about how the other departments are run, if you get a hot/experienced marketing guy you will have a good backbone to start your organization with.

I can't say exactly what you should do, start an AVS, Paysites or whatever, but I can say that I think the hardest thing you are now going to have to come up with yourself are the killer ideas to give whatever you do substance and set it apart from the TONS of competition you have.

I can't agree more. I am looking to go for a pay site (with an affiliate program) - and then add more to the collection to the point that I can get a good affiliate program site to promote them all like the big boys do.

Advertising wil be key - and I will be advertising on Netpond to start off with (and eventually here of course) - Netpond has a great package that not only promotes you on there, but also some of the biggest porn sites on the web.

I'm psyched.

put heavy emphasis on finding the right marketing guy..... the person in that position can make or break you.

Best to get into the hosting and content biz.

I am not going to start out with a mainstream site - I'd like a niche like mature, big tits, etc. - and then go from there.

Amp is a very talented and qualified designer. This will be one no-brainer for you guys.

If you are thinking marketing and don't want to take someone on full time go with D-Money of the Marketing Firm. They can help you a lot.

Buying a #1 spot on the hun wouldn't hurt either. It will atract a good amount of traffic to your site. It works well for OX Cash and Bangbus.

Don't just niche market... SUPER NICHE market! I have many different sites but the ones that draw the most traffic on their own are the ones that are so specific it's crazy!!

For example instead of saying mature say Over 40 horny housewives! I know it sounds silly but you'd be surprised.

Think of it this way, we are used to ultra convenience. We want what we want when we want it. If you want cereal you don't settle for just any cereal you want Corn Flakes. Not just any corn flakes you want Kelloggs corn flakes. Not just any size of Kelloggs corn flakes but you want that Huge box of Kelloggs Corn Flakes that's normally on sale!

The same goes for porn. Sometimes I wanna see Latinas. When I want to see latinas I have a preference. I wanna see girls from Brazil! So I'm not gonna go to any one of the big sponsors 'Sexy Latina' sites... I'm gonna go to http://www.gfimagazine.com

If you focus on specific wants and needs you are going to find surfers zeroing in on your sites. Just cover each niche a little at a time and soon you will have the entire spectrum covered and superserved!

Still... find that seasoned marketing guy that knows the ins and outs of the biz. Where's Evil Chris? I honestly don't know much about him but his name is burned in my head for some reason & that's a good sign.
