last night i was going to post exactly what quiet said but i thought better of it because people seemed to mean well.

but where do people get off giving that kind of personal advice to people who are virtual strangers? You have no idea what quiet's family relationships are or are not, what his personal situation is or isn't.

and that's just bullshit about suicide being the 'easy way out'. Let's see you put a gun to your head and squeeze the trigger. What it tells you is this guy was so depressed he couldn't see his way out. It is selfish when you have a wife and kids to kill yourself, it does leave them with some major baggage beyond just the grief of losing their husband and dad.
