    Morpheus and KaZaA Suck. Oldschool rules again!!

    Since the days of Napster, I got lazy. I always counted on these cheesy applications like Napster, Morpheus and KaZaA and had forgotten my roots. Does anyone still use IRC except us super geeky types? Back in the day, I used to run an FTP server and an IRC fserve. I got a little burned out last night with the regular work grind and decided to hit IRC again for a little fserve action. This shit is great! I have found more unreleased shit in the last 12 hours than I have in the last month. FTPs are pretty sweet too, but are a hell of a lot of work. Anyway, for all you old school MP3 freaks, fire up your IRC client and hit an Undernet server. Good rooms are #mp3passion and #mp3tunes. Things have improved a lot since the last time you used an fserve.

          You'll have to forgive me but just started using IRC and still haven't figured out how to get around. Can you tell me how to get there?

                  Whats a good room to down load current screeners on irc? Most of th ones I have checked out sucked. Or even movies released in the last year that are not copies froma camcorder?

                          For undernet type:
                          /server paris.fr.eu.undernet.org
                          in the status window
                          after your get alot text you type:
                          /join #mp3passion
                          for example.

                          If you don't have a program yet goto www.mirc.com.

                              Kazaa works perfect for me. Much easier to find what I'm looking for then with dalnet or undernet etc...

                              Before napster came I always used fserves and ftps from irc channels, but I'm glad tools like kazaa have been made

                                              Been a while since you used an fserve, huh? I have been downloading quite a bit lately at 100K+. You should try it on one of your friends machines. Your AOL wasn't meant for MP3s.
