Fucking assholes...

Some black guy just robbed my GF when she was going from a pub to a taxistation. Why would anyone rob somebody AFTER they come out of a pub, I know I never have a penny left.
The robber got 20?, my GF's cellphone and all her ID's. Great. It's not the money or cellphone, but applying for new ID's is a bitch.

I'm off to a police station to pick my GF up. She's all drunk and crying.. I feel more sorry for myself than her. Luckily she's not badly hurt. The robber hit her once and pushed her to the ground.

Idunno why I shared this with you, but I just thought I would.

ps. If you get all upset because I said 'black guy', instead of 'guy' it's because we don't have much black people here, yet they cause the most trouble. After gypsies. I'm not a racist, but if they keep this up I will become one. This better not turn into one racist thread.

I guess if you had to mention that the robber was a black guy, you think it's important to note the ethnicity of criminals(?). I can see why you'd have to tell this to the police, but your desire to tell us seems to imply you want us to think of this as a racial incident. Was your GF robbed because she was white?

Because the profiling led them to believe it wasn't black people or saudi's who perpetrated that.

They think it's a white male of the homegrown terrorist variety who is apparently educated and has access to such things.

I agree with profiling to a degree...it doesn't always work...but has shown to be successful.

I don't think people should be pulled over in their cars solely because of race...but when working security detail at the airports and looking for terrorists or drug runners you shouldn't be shaking down 70 year old Swedes on vacation instead of the 24 year old Saudi national who is only carrying on one piece of luggage and bought his ticket 2 hours before the flight...you would of course focus on more appropriate suspects.

Profiling worked the first time the shoe bomber guy was turned away at the airport...they just failed to follow up on that and allowed him to return and get on an airplane.

I worked as a security guard at a grocerystore, and EVERY day there would be gypsies trying to steal stuff. 95% of the gypsies coming to the store tried to steal something. Why can't I tell you? She was probably robbed because the black guy was a fucking cocksucker. The color doesn't change this fact. I haven't been dealing with many black men, but with those I have delt with are 95% bad experiences. I also used to drive a cab, and 50% of the black people I carried tried to run off without paying.. for real too. The foreign black men are usually cool, as for driving a cab.. they tipped well and were calm and relaxed. Like UK and US black people, probably slightly wealthier too as they can afford to come to finland. The black people I dislike are the Somalians that are here, none of them work.. for real too. Maybe its just me but i would never let my gf leave a pub Alone at night thats just asking for trouble man. I would have picked her lush ass up after she had her drinks. Seeing a drunk woman past midnite alone on the street is too easy for assholes to take advantage of. Where the hell we're you at man? You could have kicked that guys ass and prevented this (i hope)

Nah, it's usually not dangerous in Finland. There's actually very little crime, and she was with her brother. Unfortunately the brother wasn't with her when she left the pub.

I'm at home in a terrible fever, that's why I wasn't 'protecting' her there, and that's one of the main reasons it was such an 'inconvience' for me.

She's all right, she just twisted her ankle when she fell.

Being a Maryland native myself I know that the American stereotype gypsy is an eastern european person wearing scarves and long skirts and too much patchouli oil.

Thing is, here in Europe, ANYONE can be a gypsy. It has to do with lifestyle (mainly living in mobile trailer homes and converted buses and roaming around the continent willy nilly). They have a really nasty reputation for screwing you over at every turn. They DO lie and DO steal. They offer to do odd jobs around the house for you and totally fuck them up while stealing Grandma's best silver at the same time. If you've ever seen Snatch with Brad Pitt by Guy Ritchie (same bloke as Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels )You'd see what I am talking about.

Just another point on the "racism" aspect of this post. Personally, i couldn't give a flying fuck if someone is racist or not. It doesn't bother me to be honset. But, the name of this post, and the fact that you were compelled to mention the fact that he was black, made me think?

And about having to spend hours with your hysterical girlfriend, you really aren't much of a man if you can't take care of her emotionally once in a while. You might not think so, but having your support and just your presence around her probably helps her a great deal more than you realise.

I can see your point in this, my original post implied that I don't feel sorry for my chick for being robbed. I do feel bad for her, and it must have been scary. It's just that it's not the end of the world, and originally the comment on my first post was ment as a joke. " I feel more sorry for myself than her" That's not what I ment, what I tried to say "I don't wanna hear her fucking crying all night long when I'm sick and I wanna sleep..", that might also sound cold, but that's how I felt at the time I wrote it.

I hate to have bad blood with someone, and you sorta started it.. I don't understand why one has to attack someone on a fucking BBS for something that isn't business related.. well, I guess you get some kicks out of it. Even if you concentrated on one comment and pulled things from the past that are completely out of context. Let it rest.

It wasn't ment as a plural. I am NOT a racist (I think ) as I have a few black friends too. I hate somalis, that I can't help. I also hate many finns who are white. I was pissed at the time when it happened and really did (for some reason) need to mention he was black. Dunno why... to be honest I did have some nasty thoughts about black people in general at that specific time. Not anymore, now I just wish I could kick this one individuals ass.

I CAN take care of her emotionally, and I did.. It's just annoying when she's drunk and I can't talk to her. I was tired and sick.
