This again.

Thanks to the OP for posting first of all.

Once again the bros are here (or bro wannabees) telling us that we shouldn't pay attention to this issue. Let's please keep it out of the spotlight and the rationale is that it is better for 'us'.

Amazing that something so trivial to them has them in these threads with such gusto.

Can't see anyone saying that. I see people saying that what is important is how much money you make per click.

Lucas,

I am going to open a new paysite program. I will pay you 100% of all revenue your traffic generates. I will never have any kind of traffic leak on the sites. I will never shave any sales. Thati s a fact. However, this new program of mine will have a bunch of old DVD videos on it and it won't update very often. It's ok, I plan to say right on the tour 'this Site has old videos and doesn't update often' so everything is 100% honest for customers to see. My expectation is that ratios will be about 0.00 and your $/click will be $0.00, but you WILL get 100% of zero without any leaks, shaves, payment fees, etc and the minimum payout will be $.01

Do you plan to send traffic to this program? It's completely 'clean' and it is POSSIBLE you could make 'up to' millions of dollars!

Or

Do you plan to send your traffic to another sponsor with a higher actual Net $/click instead?

It's MATH

It looks like it is older than a baby, but not quite an adult. You know, almost a teenage cat, or teen cat for short.

Relentless 06-25-2014 05:54 AM

So, you are saying that this 'teen cat' picture you posted shows someone who really does understand math, but is pretending to not understand math, just so he can look cute to other people?

Interesting.

i nowhere said i have problems with those popups :winkwink: i also stated it is almost the same as xsale, because i am not sure if i am making any money on revs with xsales, so, just a traffic leak, not a big problem for me, if its making money. the only thing i am saying here is, that it is good to watch out sponsors, who have traffic leaks, who havent been counting sales, as i posted before and have been confirmed by robert. all i am saying is, that if program is doing something not so normal, i am keeping an eye on it. my business is about trying new things, if i see it as perspective, i will put tons of work for promotions on many ways, if i found that the ratios are not good, i put up less and less promotions so i am wasting almost no time on their new products, but not saying i will leave them completelly. just, saying, i am keeping an eye on them and my machines are monitoring their join pages and other important things, cause if there is something not so normal now, nobody knows what else may come :winkwink: :2 cents:

Lucas Translation: "I agree. Net $/click is what matters and it is important for all webmasters to watch their own stats closely."

It only took 5 pages to finally reach the truth.

Congrats Everyone!

it is important to watch their sponsors closely. because traffic and ratios are jumping no matter if sponsor make changes on their tours or not, so you cant know from your stats if your sponsor started to fuck you or your surfers into the ass :winkwink: still, your truth is one thing, mine is second :) but our both truths together are the best combination :) have a nice day everyone :)

Relentless 06-25-2014 06:10 AM

They are the same truth.

"$/click is all that matters, and affiliates should watch $/click closely"

One Truth.

You would think so.....but some people think that being the gfy hero that outs the nasty program with its pesky leaks is actually more important.

If you dont like the program go elsewhere. Its not too difficult.

try cleaning your own house first. Accusing others of muslim rants (I get that you were mistaken, so man up & make it good) and spreading that misinformation/getting someone a bad name, is a shitty thing to do.

yes could be, but sure it saved tons of banged credit cards, thats without doubt :)

Relentless 06-25-2014 07:06 AM

Lucas,

Just to be clear....

Everyone agrees illegal actions are bad for business. I've said so twenty times in this thread. Illegal actions like banging cards are very bad. Do you know why? Because they lower the $/click long term by a lot of money. Once again, $/click includes *everything* you talk about. You make it harder for yourself than it needs to be.

Here is the Math to prove it:
1) Lucas says: 3+2+4(8)/9-6+2*7

2) $/click says: 16.5555555556

Those two values are identical!!!!

Instead of going in circles looking at each part you can look directly at the total, which already includes every part of your equation.

Lucas,

EVERYTHING is about mathematics. They are the underpinnings of physics, astronomy, biology, chemistry. Why the sun exists the way it does... is all math. Why you are happy or not is based on biochemistry which can all be explained by math. How you walk or chew gum can be explained by biometric math. How much money you have, what happens to the economy, how we can predict the weather is all math.

Do you know who believes "the world is not only about mathematics"?

Idiots who think the Earth is 6 thousand years old because the Bible says so. Fools who think climate change is not happening because the Koch brothers tell them so. You are aligning yourself with people who fail to understand the most basic part of life. There are things we CAN know, and when we can prove them with math and science there is no more need to talk in circles about them.

Gravity exists, we don't need to wonder each time we pick up an object if it will fall back toward Earth. It will... and we have the math to prove it. Arguing against $/click or acting like it needs a bunch of other nonsense around it is like saying Gravity is a good idea but we can't really know unless we check for a hundred other things that might cause a bowling ball not to fall if we release it from 5 feet off the ground.

It's MATH and Math is your friend. :2 cents:

yes, whole world is connected by mathematics, but if you go out and go swim at lake, you dont need count or any math to enjoy your free time, the same is if someone wants to know why are popups where they normally dont have to be, and for that you also dont need to use high matematics :winkwink: its really sometime simplier :winkwink:

At the lake you only need math if you want to learn how to swim FASTER and EASIER.

The exact same thing is true for affiliate webmasters.

You do not need math, UNLESS you want to make money FASTER and EASIER :2 cents:

You call it needing eyes to see... that doesn't change the fact that light waves are making your sight possible. If you learn why you can see, you can also learn how to see better. If you just stop at 'I use my eyes' you will never see quite as well.

$/click is the light... and you are in the dark.

Come to the light.

Struggle4Bucks 06-25-2014 09:31 AM

Reading this thread by now we can start to see a consensus...

From now on it's save to say that programs can keep certain of their subscribtion types on their payforms out of the tracking system. If your conversions/$/clicks/revenues or whatever the fuck declines... it doesn't matter because everything is about $/clicks and although the decline is clear to see your "could haves" are only imaginary...

As long as you are happy with your check at the end of the month everything is fine!
As long as you stay with the program who pays you most... everything is fine!

The fysical world can be explained and decribed with math...
With math you can also simulate situations and make calculations
and predictions...
You can even calculate "could haves" . That might be just as accurate as weatherpredictions... yes...they use math for that too... but sometimes weatherpredictions are very accurate... most of the time they are pretty close.
Did you know that many companies and governments use math to make predictions
and calculations about "could haves" and "would be's"?. That they invest a lot of money and make everyday decissions based on "could haves" and "would be's".
"Could have" and "would be" calculations might not give you an exact number on what will be but denying there are "could haves" at all is just an insult to maths. It is even denying maths... Some people only want to use maths when it fits their agenda...

We can talk about $/clicks forever. Fact is that this thread is about bringing a leak into attention. Everyone is entiteld to do that. And everyone is free to give their opinion on that... apart from the $/clicks you have.

Not one single person said what you call a consensus. Not one....

A consensus would be:

From now on, and as it has actually always been, it's safe to say that programs can make decisions that affect your $/click. If your $/clicks declines or increases for ANY reason you need to be aware of it and watch it closely. It is the only thing that matters because everything is about $/clicks and if any decline or rise is clear your "could haves" are only imaginary and your ACTUAL $/click should dictate whether you continue to send traffic or take any other action.

Sometimes there is a consensus because people completely seem to ignore
an issue... which implies there is no problem... so there is a consensus...

Yes... "could haves" are imaginary in the way that predictions are preditions and you can never know what your actual "could have" would be...

That doesn't kill the fact that there are "could haves"

This is a business discussion and the consensus is: "$/click matters...and webmasters should watch their $/click closely."
