Arizona GOP riding the crazy train...
This should give you an idea of how bat shit crazy and extreme the Right is getting. The Republican Party of Arizona has officially censured John McCain for being too liberal... LoL how more fucked can the Republican Party get when they censure their former top presidential candidate because they say he is too liberal..

That is how "bat shit crazy" and "extreme" the Dems can be as well. Pretty much in either part there is no room for dissent. Maybe that's a good thing? Would you accept a very conservative Democrat? I don't think so. And I don't think Republicans accept a very liberal Republican. The country is divided right now between people who believe the govt. should be big and in control...and those that think the govt. should be smaller and less obtrusive. And then when you throw in the social issues...it really messes up both sides. For instance, I'm fiscally conservative (like a Republican)...but extremely socially liberal (far more than any Democrat). |

Lieberman committed party suicide by his actions and became a independent after he got pissed off from losing the senate nomination but he was never actually kicked out. These guys in Arizona however actually voted to censure McCain. Even the party whip called them whacky.. |

crockett that is just more excuses...and bullshit.
Lieberman wasn't the only Dem supporting the Iraq War. MOST of them did. Including John Kerry and Hillary Clinton. Bro, you are trying to re-write history. When the reality is that you are just so pro-Democrat that you refuse to see the truth when it's presented to you. Lieberman was run out of the Democrat party like a dog. He didn't get "pissed off" about his election to the Senate. He got "primaried" by the Democrat Party. The same exact thing that Democrats are screaming about the Tea Party doing to "liberal" Republicans. And Lieberman PROVED he was the most popular candidate by going Independent and WINNING the election. |

Call it what you will, but he was never voted out of the Democratic Party he choose to run as a independent-democrat no one stopped him from running as a Democrat. He instead claimed his party left him as if it had evolved into something else.. Meanwhile he was the guy being vetted to be McCain's running mate and spoke at the RNC putting his support behind McCain. Do you really think the guy was going to keep his support after that? Again he alienated himself by his actions, hell his senate election in which he ran as a independent he was the "de-facto" republican and was actually endorsed by the Republicans. Even still with this he was still a Democrat because no one "kicked" him out he was just given the cold shoulder.. Also Democrats supported the Iraq war at the beginning when they went along with Bush's lies and mis information about WMDs. As it became clear Bush had bullshitted his way to war Democrats were no longer supporting the war. So don't act as if "most" Democrats were supporting the war at that point. That's BS and you know it. Democrats were running on ending the war not supporting it by that time, |

You are COMPLETELY rewriting history.
The Democrat Senators saw the same intel that the state dept saw. And it was the same intel that the Clinton administration passed down too. It was 100% wrong. But the Dems went with it just like Bush did. And they didn't run on ending the war! Kerry didn't run on that at all. Hell, he's turned in to one of the biggest warmongers in the govt. Right alongside McCain. He was practically frothing at the mouth to invade Syria a few months ago. You really can't see how biased and wrong you are can you? And in one breath you say that Liebermans views were what got him run out by his own party and primaried. And that's "okay" In the next breath you call the Republicans "crazy" and "extreme" for doing it to McCain because of his views on policy! NEWSFLASH: When you don't think your Senator is representing you, you get rid of him. Thats what the Dems tried to do to Lieberman & it's what the Republicans are trying to do to McCain. Maybe we'll get lucky and the Dems might field a less bloodthirsty candidate and the tea party & McCain will cancel each other out. Crazy? To get rid of a bureaucrat that doesn't represent his constituents? You are getting further and further out there in your argument |

Yea that's pretty much what I was saying but as usual when ever anything bad about a Republican is said the same guys show up to try and distract from the topic, because they can't stand it if we aren't bashing Obama with them while telling everyone we are independent.

Also no everyone didn't see the same intel, they saw what the Bush admin cherry picked to present as actual fact. Please tell me you are not going to pretend that the case to to to war was not filled with bull shit. Congress voted on the cherry picked Intel that Bush admin provided. It soon became apparent that bush admin misled congress hence the reason by the next election, democrats were very much anti war... |

Use to be there was conservative democrats and liberal republicans, some would say Reagan was a liberal Republican, given that he started as a Democrat and spoke up for gay rights.
Lieberman may have changed his colors to be an independent, but he did so to keep his re-election as a senator. He did lose a lot of favor with the rank and file democrats when he spoke at the 2008 RNC to endorse John McCain. He still voted with the democrat caucus. crocket is being a useless tool as usual with this post, it literally means nothing, it clearly states that no further action is expected. This is just some of the GOP at state level want him to vote differently, I doubt that will happen.

Pres. Clinton was the one with the intelligence that said Iraq had WMD's his administration passed that on to the Bush administration. And when our so-called "intelligence" agencies kept reporting that it was escalating after 9-11...EVERYBODY saw that same "intelligence". Including all the Democrats who were shouting "let's go to war" I'm not biased at all about it. I'm just not gonna exaggerate everything like you are doing. These politicians are all over YouTube proclaiming that Iraq needed to be invaded. And yet you still try to change history. THAT is bias with no sense of reality. My GUESS is that all of them were more than happy to funnel money to their defense contractor buddies. Because every damn state in the union has a "fort" or "base" on it for some goddamn reason. And every state has a military contractor. So every Senator and Representative has a stake in keeping out military bloated. It happened under Bush. So I blame him (just like you). But I'm not blinded by bias. I blame every goddamn one of those crooks in Washington D.C. And Bush is now retired and has no power at all. Just like Obama will be in a few years. But the crooks who are really behind this...the Senators and Congressmen? They are all still there. But you don't care. All you care about is saying that one "side" is "bad". Pathetic. |

Almost extinct. Just like "liberal" Republicans.
That's my point. BOTH parties are becoming "extreme" by moving away from the center. But if you read crockett's post you would swear it's only Republicans. The actual count of "Blue Dog" democrats in the House: After the election of 2008 there were only 54 of them left. After the election of 2012 there are only 15 of them left!!! Couple of decades back they were the majority of the Democrat party. |

What a fucking stupid thing to say, if they were conservative, then Obama wouldn't be president. Independents make up 40% of the US population.

O'Reilly always calls himself "independent". I don't think it's because he's "ashamed" I think it's because he likes to think he's independent. But I'd say that O'Reilly definitely pulls the lever for "Republican" when he votes. Not a big deal. Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer, Ed Shulz, Rachel Maddow....does anyone think that they ever vote anything BUT Democrat? That's just the way it is. Now amongst the general population...I do believe that most people are independent minded and tend to vote more for each individual candidate and their stance on pertinent issues. I'm not counting the "47%" of people who strictly vote Democrat for the free stuff they get. That one is a no-brainer. But the rest of the people who actually pay taxes, I believe are more independent of political parties these days. |

And I agree with you that in general, people are in the middle. I have both conservative views and liberal views. I fell out of favor with the GOP during Bush jr years. I saw no reason to go into Iraq and we should not have stayed in Afghanistan as long as we did. There was no reason, but ALL or politicians wanted to go, then were against it later. I remember the Soviet Union going in there and being turned back, just to have the country fall back into the other hands. Exactly what will happen when pull the last of our troops out this time, nothing changes....

You have called me bias several times now.. Yet show me one time when you have called Vendillza biased for one of his lovely topics, show me one time that you came in guns a flying to one of his Democrats do everything wrong topics where you came in called him biased and showed him the Republicans have done the same.. I just love how the idiots in the GOP are now nothing more than a train-wrecked joke. The COCK brothers and other idiot republicans spend hundreds of millions of dollars trying help candidates win elections and they fail again and again. No matter how much they spend, they can never win against COMMON SENSE, TRUTH and SCIENCE. And even if one sneaks passed and gets into office, it's long before they let their inner retard out and say or do something stupid.
These tired old bastards won't even be remembered in 10 or 15 years from now.

Because you and BTF3K ALWAYS exaggerate and try to make things appear as they are not. I read your posts and I instantly, without hesitation think: "That is total bullshit". And then I respond. The fact that you think I'm ONLY anti-Democrat is just further evidence of your own bias. ANYTHING that doesn't agree 100% with you and the Democrat party line and talking points is instantly "pro-Republican". I think your arguments are empty. Your ideas are wrong. And the things you espouse have never and will never work. It's nothing personal at all by the way. It's just shocking to me how you and many other intelligent people are so blinded by party loyalty (and why I don't know...the Democrats have done nothing for you or your family) that you can't take every case scenario and treat it individually. From what I've seen you post...Pres. Obama and the Democrat Party have done NOTHING wrong ever. And George Bush and the Republican Party have done NOTHING right ever. THAT is biased. My posts are just what I see with my own two eyes. In my OPINION, Pres. Obama is a horrible leader. He is unable to compromise in any way, shape, or form. He seems to follow the lead of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi in every fiscal decision that he makes. Obviously he had NO experience in the real world and wasn't prepared for the job. When I voted for him in 2008 that was one of the things that I LIKED about him. I figured he might not be a typical politician. But he is. |

This right here proves my above post. This kind of idea based on a FOX news talking point is the bread and butter of conservatives' phony argument tactics.

What did this topic have to do with any democrat much less Obama before you came into it, ignored the subject matter and instantly went into oh the democrats do it too. You are just as biased as you say I am.. Let me ask you a question. If a political party hired lawyers to challenge your right to vote and staffed them at the polling offices on Election Day and they in fact challenged your right to vote then had it thrown out, would you not have a gripe with that party? I'll give you a news flash, that happened to me in 2000 and I saw first hand how the Republican party stole the election in Florida. My vote was thrown in the trash and I watched 5 other people also having their right to vote challenged while I sat there filling out a provisional ballot. They did the same thing across the state to thousands of people. Republicans stole that election and they threw my vote away and thousands of others. I'm no where near as pro Democrat as I am anti Republican and I have damn good reason to be that way. If the same thing happened to you, you would also hate the Republican Party. You want to know what my grave crime was that cost me my right to vote? I moved with-in 30 days of the election, that was the reason my right to vote was challenged and why my vote was thrown in the trash. As far as I'm concerned the Republican Party will be the death of this country if they get back into power. Bush came close enough to destroying it, as it was, you might as well be pissing on the constitution if you vote republican as far as I'm concerned because that's exactly what they have done. They can't win elections anymore because they are so anti everything but rich white people that they try to steal them. |

How can you blame the republican party for that? Were you a republican at the time?

But yeah...call me a Republican. I'm pro-choice, anti drug-war, I believe ALL the troops should come home from all over the world, etc., etc. You don't even seem to understand what a true liberal is. Not surprising these days it seems. |

Did you not read? It wasn't Democrats with lawyers at the polling offices, challenging peoples right to vote it was Republicans.

YOU were insinuating that since the Republican Party was going after John McCain that they were "crazy" and "extreme". I pointed out that the Democrats do the same thing. It's pretty common. You tried to lie and deceive. I pointed out the truth. And like most times with extreme people who are tied to a party... if the truth doesn't fit your agenda and talking points, then I MUST be a Republican stooge. As I said before...I think you are an otherwise intelligent guy. But your arguments are childish, pathetic, and you are wearing blinders because you call one party "extreme" and "crazy" for doing EXACTLY what the other party does all the time as well. This is like arguing with a fence post. |

And yet...even though Bush was HATED over that 2000 election by the Democrats...he somehow was able to charm, coerce, and convince all of your Democrat heros in the Senate and Congress to vote "yes" on damn near anything he wanted. I wonder why? And yet...Obama can't seem to get ANYTHING done. Amazing isn't it? And when Obama Care is failing...you posted in another thread that it was the Republican's fault for that too! Come on man! Nobody can be as obtuse as you are pretending to be. You are totally caught up in the Democrat party and don't care what happens as long as the Dems "win". Me? I think EVERY politician in Washington should be voted out of office. They are ALL responsible for what is happening in this country. You? Obama is God. Democrats are great. Republicans are evil. Pathetic. |
