But I'd say that O'Reilly definitely pulls the lever for "Republican" when he votes.
Not a big deal. Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer, Ed Shulz, Rachel Maddow....does anyone think that they ever vote anything BUT Democrat?
That's just the way it is.
Now amongst the general population...I do believe that most people are independent minded and tend to vote more for each individual candidate and their stance on pertinent issues.
I'm not counting the "47%" of people who strictly vote Democrat for the free stuff they get. That one is a no-brainer. But the rest of the people who actually pay taxes, I believe are more independent of political parties these days.

Yeah, O'Reilly is right leaning for sure. And I disagree with him a lot.
And I agree with you that in general, people are in the middle. I have both conservative views and liberal views.
I fell out of favor with the GOP during Bush jr years. I saw no reason to go into Iraq and we should not have stayed in Afghanistan as long as we did. There was no reason, but
ALL or politicians wanted to go, then were against it later. I remember the Soviet Union going in there and being turned back, just to have the country fall back into the other hands. Exactly what will happen when pull the last of our troops out this time, nothing changes....

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
