You are COMPLETELY rewriting history.
The Democrat Senators saw the same intel that the state dept saw. And it was the same intel that the Clinton administration passed down too.
It was 100% wrong.
But the Dems went with it just like Bush did.
And they didn't run on ending the war!
Kerry didn't run on that at all. Hell, he's turned in to one of the biggest warmongers in the govt. Right alongside McCain.
He was practically frothing at the mouth to invade Syria a few months ago.
You really can't see how biased and wrong you are can you?
And in one breath you say that Liebermans views were what got him run out by his own party and primaried. And that's "okay"
In the next breath you call the Republicans "crazy" and "extreme" for doing it to McCain because of his views on policy!
NEWSFLASH: When you don't think your Senator is representing you, you get rid of him.
Thats what the Dems tried to do to Lieberman & it's what the Republicans are trying to do to McCain.
Maybe we'll get lucky and the Dems might field a less bloodthirsty candidate and the tea party & McCain will cancel each other out.
