I had to nag them for months before I finally managed to get my payout out of them.

I have used Zombaio for years. They have had many payment delays but in the end they always paid me.

Me too but after waiting 60 days for redpass funding, I removed Zombaio - I had 6 processors and it was nearly bottom, but, I was around at ibill times, you know what...

Can someone who gets replies from zombaio in any means (their support chat or the email) invite at least one Zombaio/RedPass employee to make a GFY account and to reply those many threads about them? I say this for the benefits of Zombaio! The fact they do not reply any post in months it is not looking good or helping their brand there.
Maybe they do not know of any post, people send them the links?

Michael O still works for them, and he did responded in one thread about Zombaio created by DirtyF,tho he didn't mentioned anything about this "general" problem.

Do you have affiliates you have to pay?..

Sure and models, servers, taxes, etc.

I recommend you all switch to RedPass as your payment method. Ever since I did the Zombaio + RedPass combo it's been pretty much smooth sailing.

JesseQuinn 04-19-2014 12:13 PM

@BigTymer, have you found that your payments have been consistently arriving on time?

I ask because I haven't been experiencing the huge payment delays I've been reading here on gfy: a couple of payments recently were a few days late but so were three other payments I received from other sources which suggests that was more of a mail issue (I prefer paper checks). I ended up receiving all of them within 4 days of the due date. Aside from that, other than an address snafu when I first signed up with zombaio in 2012 my payments have generally been on time or early (as in, I received them in the mail the day they were posted as 'cleared').

I've been looking around online to try to get a sense of the scope of the problem here and I don't know if I'm just not searching in the right places but aside from gfy I haven't been able to find much on zombaio payment delays. I get that what I'm asking is totally anecdotal but I'm really confused as to why my payment history has been so steady while others seem to be having such huge issues.

I'm not negating the frustration of people who are overdue on payments here (and even one person not being paid is unacceptable), I'm just trying to get a sense of the actual scope of this issue.

jreg81 04-19-2014 12:38 PM

They are still around three weeks behind with our payments. Got on with their chat support on Thursday and they said to expect all of our late payouts by next week.

We have long since removed them from our billing Cascades, but there is still a significant amount of re-bill income with them. This has been going on for several years now, but it has gotten really bad lately.

Thursday was the last time I waste my valuable time asking them where our money is. If our money doesn't show up next week like they told me, the next time they hear from us will be through legal channels.

What I'm curious about, is when you ask *why* these payments are late - 3 weeks is a long time - what is their response? Is it a "Don't worry about that boss, we'll have your cash soon" thing or are they actually describing technical stuff that's been holding up some accounts?

They only ever give one liner responses, and never explain anything. Just a bunch of copy/paste false apologies and more or less "money is in motion" type replies.

Yes. But consistent as in every week. Not like every Tuesday or on set dates. Sometimes they come on Monday and other times by Friday. As long as I get a payment each week I'm cool.

When they have delays and I don't get a payment one week they'd send me two payments the next week.

icymelon 04-19-2014 08:21 PM

when they say the money is in motion that means it's over time to move on. Can't squeeze blood from a stone. Thank god there are plenty of other good options.

Gator 04-19-2014 10:38 PM

It's too bad because they have good systems. RedPass is probably their doom. I think some people here complaining contributed to the downfall by being dishonest themselves. You get what you give.

@BigTymer, thanks for responding. I'm relieved I'm not the only one who's actually having a positive experience with zombaio.

This whole thing is still pretty baffling to me though. It doesn't make sense to me that some people would be receiving informative, quality live chat support and regular payments while others would be experiencing the opposite. On the live chat support tip, after my last payment was a couple days late I did contact Jesper (normally I wouldn't care about a few days here or there but after reading here I figured I should follow up). After a 2 min wait to be connected Jesper gave me the exact date my payment had been sent out, and sure enough it was in my mailbox the next day. On the rare occasion I've contacted live support that's been my experience: a short wait time and my questions being answered in full with the requested info provided.

I do wish Michael O or another zomabio rep would maintain a more prominent presence here and address any overdue payment issues publicly, as the lack of response from the company isn't ideal. I'm with adultmobile on that, their brand probably is being negatively impacted when people lodge complaints publicly with no response from the company. It def would be in everyone's best interests (the company, prospective merchants and satisfied and dissatisfied merchants alike) if zombaio did at least make an attempt to publicly address concerns when they arise. the fact that everyone who's posting here including me can only provide anecdotal experiences doesn't shed much light on what's really going on.

I dunno, I like zombaio. the company has been great to me and through them I'm able to process at a much more competitive rate than I'd be able to achieve elsewhere. The processor really is unique in that it allows smaller, independent producers such as myself a way to run our own businesses without paying exorbitant rates (well, I think adult processing rates in general are exorbitant but that's a whole nother issue). Hell, even if I booked 25k per week Zombaio still beats the rate charged by CCBill, and that's not even factoring in the visa/mc fees.

I hope that zombaio isn't on it's way out, beyond the personal impact that would have on many of us I do think the field of adult would be a worse place without this processing option.

While I don't think cursing and rants are all that productive, I do get the frustration of peeps who are waiting on payments and the anger is understandable. I hope everyone gets paid.

I used go be just like you. I liked Zombaio and was confused about why other people were bitching about them. Then, it happened to me. Starts off slow, a week late here and there, then is slides into no payouts for a couple weeks, from there it's at 3 weeks behind then a month. It's just a slow declining cycle.

They are slowly fucking over clients one by one, using the available funds to pay off their more prominent accounts hoping that the smaller, weaker accounts will simply go away and not cause any legal action.

It's always a safe bet to maintain the larger accounts and screw the smaller ones because smaller account holders don't have the legal might or money to pursue a legal course of action, especially overseas. So they are focusing on maintaining the larger accounts first.

But even those accounts will soon fall under the spiraling downward effects because after all the smaller feeder fish are wiped out, they won't have enough incoming funds to cover the larger fish, and one by one those accounts will soon start to dwindle.

A few months from now when 'all of a sudden' your payouts are a week late.... no big deal... then a couple weeks late... ok, a little worried....Then, when they are a month behind you'll remember reading this and you'll be the one making the new thread entitled:
Hey Zombaio, eat shit and die you mother fuckers!!!

Was it because you're a shitty customer service rep or because they are on the way out?

They didn't seem to have the same sweet wishes towards you when I talked to them.

Don't get me wrong, you might be a nice guy but you were a prick every time I dealt with you. Nothing but bullshit or "I dont know are we done here" type shit.

Apparently this has been a pattern with you. So, I wasn't surprised but you probably should stay away from customer service. :2 cents:
