And Actually many of the girls were not fully disclosed as to the exact nature of what was going to happen to them. Sure in some cases girls were told it can be violent or rough but those two words do not exactly give justice to what happened to some of these models.

If a girl is genuinely crying and is in obvious distress, the technicality of money having changed hands doesn't make it any less forced. There is a webmaster who post here and lives in the gainesville / ocala area and he along with his girlfriend are under investigation and the state / fed is building a case against him.

Mutt, the problem is that there isn't really an obscenity law. It's just some vague bullshit that some judges can apply to anyone at any time with no real guidelines that one can diligently follow with forewarning. Even the most vanilla porn could be considered obscene. And the idea that a porn movie could be legal in one area and obscene in another city or state is preposterous. Max didn't even ship the damn movie in question, another company did. I am not defending his content specifically, but the whole thing is a travesty of justice.

Exactly. Without a CLEAR definition of obscenity on the books how can they lock up a guy for 4 years? Having a gf that loves rough sex I know from experience that what some see as obscene is just other peoples preference. Once a jury has deemed a video obscene, you could then make it a crime to sell that video. At least that way we would know whether or not a crime had been committed sometime before a jury comes back with a verdict....

When someone accused of robbing a bank goes on trial, for example, the only real question is "did they do it?" It just doesn't sit well with me to have a "crime" that is wholly dependent on context, and for which there is no objective criteria.
