Sounds to me like the court has a lot more inside information then we do.
I hate the content that Max shoots and I'm sure I am not the only one, but if EVERY bit of paper work was in place I think the jail time is a bit over the top. If it pissed off the wrong people I am sure they could have found some girls at some time who are willing to stand against him and have some proof of something.
