				Webair, this is so crappy

It's been a couple of months since I got my webair account. I was happy with it, the downtimes weren't bugging me at all for the price, and I was happy to see that I could order addon IPs fpr $1,5 a pop. Great I've thought.....great? Wrong!

The hassle started with the first payment for my extra IP. It seemed to be pretty uncomfortable to pay each month manually, so I asked to pay for a whole year. "No, this can't be done, it has to be paid every month". Aright then...it's not very convinient but ok. The next month I was waiting for the payment link for epassporte but I wasn't recieving it. I've emailed support to ask for their epass id. The response was a payment link for this month "Thanks for using webair!!!" ..but no epass id. It eventually happend, that I' missed making a payment because epass decided to not reveal their id. I've emailed support and told them about the payment problem and got 2 payment links...paid them both and used one of them the next month....went thru ....OK...so all I have to do is to use one of their payment links and the sale will come thru, right? Wrong! This month I've paid for my IP and still got a payment link ...but 2 weeks later. I was slowly but surely loosing it with webair and told them that they had to either reveal their epass, or manually account my payments..I told them, that I've already paid. You would expect an email like "We're sorry, we didn't see that you actually paid us..this was an error on our side, we will now send payment links on time, or if you'd like pay us directly epass id xyz", right? Wrong! All I got was a response from "liz" with exactly the same content "payment link http://www..." Thanks for choosing Webair!" Are you fucking kidding me webair? What kind of joke is this...I'm a very very patient customer, but I don't accept you playing stupid games. Well, I thought they'd find my payment but I was wrong...it still shows 1.5$ unpaid..and here's the kicker....it's an invoice for the month of february...wtf do you expect me to do? To pay for two, three..maybe 4 times?! Whatever. Just checked my blog network. All sites are down for that Ip in question. This is insane. Maybe someone from webair reads this thread and leaves his or her contact email so I can get this shit sorted because it's beyond crazyness that a customer has to constantly beg to pay.

My sites are now back up...no idea if this was actually related to the payment problem. But the payment problem is still unsolved.

just change hosts man there's enough of them out there, go talk to doug at quik-host.com or jim at techiemedia.net, tell them Waste from IronPath sent you over your sure to get a good deal. I've dealt with only these 2 companies for the past 8 years and never have issues with downtime and doug normally gives away IP's as long as you can justify it.

We don't want to know that you'll take care of it -- we know you'll take care of it now that it's been posted publicly and others are reading it. Please Webair, tell us WHY you feel that it's important to give this guy the run around like that, no what you'll do to fix it but WHY the problem came up in the first place. I'm so fucking sick of hosts saying one thing and doing another. |

So it's an automatic system? I'm only recieving payment links if I ask for them and honestly: I don't have the time an/or nerves to beg every month for payment details.

I have already contacted support SEVERAL times with no definate answer, but I'll happily try it again. and once again: It's not about extra ips, it's about paying for them. @moeloubani Thanks for your support!

i got fucked over by webair also. Plugged my sites because my virtual account pulled to much resources: however they couldn't tell me which script/process caused problems. Took me 3 weeks to get my data back, but they couldn't get my sql data back: they had no backup of that. I still get mad everytime i read webair.

Funny thing is I asked my provider for 5 additional IPs recently, and even though it took them a week, they just added them to my account... for free. Solid uptime, never a billing issue - http://www.colo-cation.com (yes - no ref link, they are that good, but don't take my word for it - seriously.)

It's really not funny. In fact, it's annoying as hell - but I still smirked. Sorry man, sometimes it is just impossible to get things smoothed out. Maybe you can send a wire.
