Do You Know What Happens When You Outsource???

Your creating more competition in the adult industry. You outsource your grunt work to third world countries and they learn the ins and outs of how the adult biz works and see they can make more money by doing it themselves than working as an outsourced employee.

Going to bed Well just apply this to history and some economics. You have to realize that outsourced employees are mainly labor, like industrial workers kind of.

Errrmmm... not exactly...

One thing you have to keep in mind is that it's illegal to host adult content in the Philippines. It's also illegal to promote, and shoot adult content as well.

Some Filipino webmasters get away with this because they are able to afford a VPN, and what shows up is a US-based IP address.

I could actually open up a pandora's box and tell all of you what REALLY goes on behind the scenes at outsourcing companies. Trust me when I say that there is not one single honest outsourcing company out there at the moment. I personally know guys who are working (or used to work) at pretty much every Philippine adult outsourcing company there is, and in one sentence, I can honestly tell you...

That whole employee skill levels thing that they base their prices on? It's all bull.

But I'm sure most of you already knew that.

Hmmm... come to think of it, I've yet to hear any complaints about iwebmasters, or webmasterlabor, BUT it's only on this thread that i've heard about them.

So, alright, I'll retract my statement for the time being. I'll say about 95% aren't honest.

To the guys that support/like outsourcing: what do you define as outsourcing/offshoring? Getting per-project stuff done cheap, or actual hiring.

That is why we have a NON COMPETE with all employees.
It depends with the company that you go with and we take this very very seriously.

I'm glad that you know so much, well the way the levels work is based on experience in his resume, and you?re getting the wrong end of the stick here and how it works.
It?s not a puzzle and we screen and background checks them, if he?s a lower level that is what he is.

We can?t go into much detail on how we do it, but we make sure that our clients are getting what they want, it?s really the most stupid thing I?ve heard saying it?s bull as we even let the clients check out his skill set and have access to other details before the hire is made.

By what your saying is you?re telling me my company does not have the skill level set and you?re also applying that to iweb, i can assure you that both our companies make sure the skill set is as accurate as possible.

I guess you?re talking to people that used to work in outsourcing companies that are no longer there and always will have something to say, probably disgruntled employees and that are on the shop floor who have no idea about what really goes on in the back end of the companies as they never see it.

I won't say anything specific as that would mean having to provide evidence and creating more shit and headaches that I don't need. Feel free to defend yourselves if you must.

Let me just say that as far as iweb, $5sub, and webmasterlabor are concerned, I haven't heard anything negative about them from their "disgruntled" employees.

Everyone else... well... let's just say that many of your (your = all of you that I haven't excused) former employees have done some local work for me.

Especially those "top level" Flash designers of yours. Lol. They come to me with a resume claiming that they were the top level in your company, and based on your criteria, and PRICES, it was laughable.

Knowing how to motion tween isn't top level. Sorry. Anyone paying well over a $1000 monthly for an offshore guy that can't actionscript properly? Then you're really getting it in the ass.

The outsourcing guys you're paying over $1000+ for are only worth $400+ a month over here (which is slightly more than what they're being paid by the outsourcing companies). All you guys are doing is feeding the middle-man's extended family.

Simple reason is... the guys that are worth over $1000? They're being paid that amount over here, and they work for the big companies, or proper design firms (like our own, which is why we have citibank and knorr in our portfolio. Other multinational accounts we've done include juicyfruit as well.), or go freelance.

The difference between making money and making real money, is to have a team (such an outsourcing company/companies) to handle the grunt work so that you can FOCUS your talents and maximize time and cash flow.

Depends on what it is you're having outsourced. Say it's writing descriptions for galleries. You think they can make a living off that on their own? Nope.

I don't think outsourcing poses any threat to adult industry as described in OP. If there is a threat, then it's spammers and abusers who load their pages with exit consoles, spyware and viruses. Healthy competition doesn't hurt anybody, it's those who don't play fair that do.

It depends with the company that you go with and we take this very very seriously.
NON COMPETE sucks and only an idiot employee would sign such an agreement.

"The ins and outs of this industry", AKA "The Ropes".

I am going to be very blunt here and listen carefully...

This fuckin industry is not muther fucking science! This fucking industry any muther fucker can do, even retarded people can do it, infact most the people in this industry are fucking retarded!

This industry is about fucking sex and making a buck from the act's, there are more ways to make money with a mother fucking picture than there are ways to fuck an army of whores to turn a god damn profit.

Listen you fucking morons...

This industry is fucking EASY its not hard...

Now you all may continue.
