    here is a thought

every day for the next 30 days do the following

eat pancakes and syrup for breakfast, hamburgers (double cheeseburgers) and fries for dinner...and every time you are hungry, pick something from the mcdonalds menu and make it yourself....

get back to me in 30 days and tell me how you feel

While eating those foods might not be the healthiest I'm willing to bet making it homemade is still about 1000 times better than eating it from McD's.

I think eating out in general is bad for you regardless if it's McD's or a regular restaurant. Homemade meals are always better for you regardless of what it is IMHO.

          Amen.

Wow -- the "movie" proved so much. If you eat like shit all day every day for a month, you are going to see some adverse effects.

Could have been done in his own fucking kitchen.

I am a 17 year old and I have been skinny my whole life.. and Im 6 foot. I eat fast food 2 times a day sometimes McDonalds for breakfast and taco bell or wendys at night. I seem not to gain any pounds.. my metabolism just washes it all away I guess and I get hungry later on.. so I go buy more.

I spend a few hundred bux on fast food a month I think.. its pretty sad.. but I am healthy as can be, never get sick.. and everything, i just need to start lifting to get buff or something.. cause im sick of being skinny ya feel me

No human being uses as much salt and fat in their food at home as you get in a fast food meal. It shouldn't take a movie for you to realize that McDonalds food is artificial poison, especially for kids. He said in the movie that he focused on McDonalds because they target kids more than anyone, with the play structures, toys, cartoons, etc. I could care less what an adult eats, they should know the risks involved and it's their fault if they get obese or seriously ill. It's when parents get it for their kids every week that bothers me, they're getting their kids hooked on the worst food possible because they're cheap and lazy. Of course kids like it, it's salty and it tastes good, kids don't care what's good for them and they have no idea just how bad it is. IMO the main point the movie was trying to make is that it's horrible to give this shit to your kids all the time. I'm sure it's made a lot of parents realize that.

Why not make a "movie" about idiotic parents then?

Oh wait -- wouldn't get the international press and the "savior" wouldn't make as much money.

                Got it now.

Your own fucking kitchen does not teach kids to eat extreme portions of fat, sodium, sugar and calories everyday fucking day.

If those fat food restaurants never existed, our OWN KITCHEN would never promote such a thing.

You may not be fat but i'm sure your arteries look like a 70 year old man if you really eat like that. Not all the effects can be seen externally

HAHAHA -- McDonalds invented unhealthy eating.

I long for the days before Ray Kroc invented heart attacks in his resturant. The good old days before he invented cholesterol and obesity.

to those that say we don't use as much salt as restaurants....we got through at least one full grocery store container of salt a month in our house...i can honestly say we use the same amount, if not more, salt than most fast food places

No, but it's promoting it like if eating there was a fucking party.

You are a fucking dumbass thinking your own kitchen would promote the same thing.

Thank God we have people like you and the "wannbe film maker of the month" to look out for us. Without people like you I might not have been able to fight off the evil Kroc marketing machine.

I really thought eating the most fat McDonalds could provide three times a day was heatlhy.

The guy was a vegan pussy....I have eaten double QP meals many times without vomiting, somtimes 2 meals at a time, and I am alot smaller than that guy, and I have stomache problems. I agree it's probably not very good for you to eat all your meals there, but every once in a while should really be no big problem.

The "Supersize Me" director (Morgan Spurlock) got the idea for the documentary when he was lying on his couch at his family's house shortly after Thanksgiving dinner, watching TV when he saw the news about two teenage girls suing McDonald's for making them obese.

Of course, it could've been Burger King, Wendy's, Taco Bell..

But once again, you are fucking clueless about the facts and the case of the two teenage girls and why he *actually* decided to make that movie.

Next time, watch the fucking movie and then come back here. Don't fucking waste my time. Thanks.

Did they show how animals are slaughtered for fast food? That would really rock fast food sales. I saw and I haven't eaten meat since November.

Its funny how some people in here act like fast food isnt unhealthy. Eat it if you want, but saying its not unhealthy is just dumb.

Of course, it could've been Burger King, Wendy's, Taco Bell..

I think eating out in general is bad for you regardless if it's McD's or a regular restaurant. Homemade meals are always better for you regardless of what it is IMHO.

just because it is made at home does not mean it is better unless you are making a conscious effort to make it better. fried chicken at home is still just as bad for you as fried chicken at KFC. it does not matter WHERE you submerge it in fat and fry it.
