I haven't paid attention to them since Around the Fur, which I think was their third album. I saw them open for Pantera when Adrenalize came out and they were fucking great, but they have mellowed a bit too much for my tastes...

A long time ago when they first broke out, I saw them play a free show in a parking lot for a store's grand opening. Of course it was very crowded, and I ended up in the front next to a 10 ft. stack of speakers. I have never experienced such bad temporary hearing damage since then, and that was my awesome, but deafening experience seeing the Deftones. You'll love it, they're good live.

They are playing at the Spectrum on Ste-Catherine, awesome sound and small venue.

I'll try to snap pics with my phone, we'll see how they come out.

Show was great, I liked the first band the best, band from toronto a chick playing guitar with a basist and drummer, something like Dead Mannequin, not sure.

Best part of the show is that I think me and my girl are going to try it out and see if we fit ;-)

Please guys wish me luck, she's a fucking Angel!!!

I saw them years ago in Montreal at the Verdun Auditorium (small venue). Incubus opened for them.

Was a very solid show, my fave moment being when Chino decided to cover one of my favorite songs (by Weezer), "Say It Ain't So"

Enjoy

OMG, I'd love to see Deftones cover a Weezer song! I'm jealous...

I recently got to see them twice this year at two different places. The 1st show. They had an awesome visual backdrop. I think. That's why I probably, enjoyed the show more and plus, they played Root. But, the 2nd show was alright. I guess. Because, they didn't play Root and didn't have that visual backdrop.

I've seen them about 8 times, and each time is better than the last. I for one like their electronic side quite a bit. However, I think Deftones should stay heavy, and Chino should keep the mellow tracks to his side project, Team Sleep.

They were the headline act at the Soundwave Festival here in Australia. They nail their performances every time. If you're a fan, you'll definitely be entertained.

Team Sleep: Shit yeah, shermsshack!
