Because if they said that they would have a hell of a time attracting webmasters. So instead they conveniently omit that, allow webmasters to sign up and promote them for months. Then when a few find out what they are doing, they come out and post their policy yet still don't list that as part of their program details on their webmaster page.

I haven't put any words in your mouth, I've only quoted you. Go back and re read this thread and look how you tell everyone you are new to revshare cams, then proceed to make multiple disparaging remarks about AWE's competition. When you say things like "you can make 20 - 30% of nothing" in reference to other sponsors, thats bashing. My point is simple, don't comment on other sponsors until you have tried them.

if you had read the thread you would see i have and that why i made my comment, thats why your putting words in my mouth , a quote is a quote a claim like "multiple disparaging remarks about awe's competition" is called putting words in my mouth since i never made any "disparaging" remark about any sponsor.. if you think 30% of nothing for life is better than 30% of something for 14 days then like i said i dont know how to help you understand math..

I never made those remarks about any sponsor or i would have used a sponsors name and i didnt .. its called an example.. one you obviously missed the point of completely..

Ok so your generalizing about your competition saying that .. "If you think 30% of nothing for life is better than 30% of something for 14 days" . Yet you have not pormoted any other cam sponsors yourself. Ok so you are physic and know that webmasters will make 30% of nothing for life from your competition? How do you know this?

I have been pushing AWE for awhile. Here's what my stats show:

2006-03-03 USERNAME 29.99
2006-04-07 USERNAME 29.99

That's over 30 days and this guy is still making me money..
I think the 14 day cookie is just for initial join, not once the surfer has an account. If it's not, don't tell AWE I'm still making money off this guy, cause he's paying my bills with all his topping up of credits! :)

divinity, you got lucky as they clearly stated their policy a while ago in this thread.

The amazing thing is this is not a new policy or a new company. I am not a fan of sponsors who lie or cheat. The way the TOS reads and the way it is done in reality does not match.

Im sorry if pointing out the obvious makes me an "ass" but that can't be helped , your brought it upon yourself by making a knowingly false assumption about what i said then asking me about it like a smartass expecting some jabs from the peanut gallery .. any child could understand it so i suppose its unreasonable to expect someone in the industry to be able to do such complex math..

where on the website does it say they track rebills only for 14 days? It must be buried somewhere deep. In my opinion it's VERY deceptive to suggest a program is revshare and only track for 2 weeks.

Furthermore I think they would do much better if they gave webmasters what they deserved. Your site might be the greatest in the world but it's NOTHING without traffic. If I was earning income on rebills then I'd be more enthused about promoting the site and will spend a lot more money trying to ramp things up. If it just stays at some low uninspiring level then it's just one of a long list of average sites.

Since Smokey feels like we are all misinterpreting him, here's a compilation of his direct quotes in this thread:

Conclusion - Smokey is talking out of his ass

Leave Smokey out of this thread. He is doing more good than bad. The bottom line is that AWE only pays for rev share for 14 days.

AWE should change their policy but I have a feeling that they are making backroom deals with some of their major players.

Anyway, it is their company they can fuck you over any way they want.

Its not mentioned at all except for comments in their webmaster forum after they were called on it. They definitely need to put it on their program details so that a prospective webmaster can determine if this is something he wants to sign up for.

I thought they might be making deals also, but I know a couple of major players who yanked them today because of this. They are catching major heat on a number of boards, I suspect we'll see a change soon.

Lol, that is not info sponsors post on their websites. How do you know how long a sponsor cookie is set too? Do you email all your sponsors and ask? I'd imagine most sales reps wouldnt even know that information.
