the thing for me at this point is,
I used to give a shit about all the stuff going on over there.... but it's become pointless.... the Palestinians simply are incapable of reason in any form. The Israelis are fed up with being attacked over and over and over again. The world at large is essentially useless at coming up with anything that is acceptable to the blockheaded Palestinians. And still, Israel is fed up with being attacked. The US started the "War on Terrorism" and basically, invented a license to go hunting. Israel is following our lead, yet, now we are telling them "it's okay for us, but not for you." which is completely absurd. So.... at this point, I really don't give a shit anymore. I have no more opinions, no more solutions, no more anything. All I can hope for is that Israel has the will to say "Fuck off" to the rest of the world and deal with those idiots their own way. And if that means running tanks over every last one of them, then so be it. The fucking moronic Palestinians don't seem to understand anything else, so let them understand force. Fuck 'em. Let them burn. |

Amputate Your Head:
You have made some good points, several of which I agree with, and allowing Israel full reign in the area, would be a solution of sorts, but it would not totally stop the killing. If you may recall the Germans occupied around a dozen countries during the Second World war. They had totally defeated the governments and their armies, but not the will of the people. The underground attacks against German soldiers, continued throughout the war, even though retalition by the Germans against civilians, was sometimes random, and usually quite brutal. |

[Labret] Shut up. You are not allowed to reply to threads on GFY anymore!
Now - Has anyone asked himself why Egypt and Jordan have peace with Israel? I'll tell you a theory I heard. Its not because they got all their land back. Egypt has'nt got Gaza strip and the same goes for small border corrections. EVEN more important - Egypt reached a had out in peace after the war (one on the many) before Israel agreed to give back the land AND Jordan had "secret" peace with Israel for many years before the treaty was signed. The "theory" goes to say that - Arabs will never accept Israel. They will never be willing to recognize Israel as a legitimate country in the first place. strange you say? ("how comes egypt and jordan has...") The theory goes on to say that Arab countries will give up only when they realize they can't really eliminate Israel. When they realize this they just give up and accept their (sad) faith. Its been so with Egypt who had a remarkable leader (Anuar Saadat) that was assasinated by less-smart people (associated with - what will suprise you - Palestinian terror organization in Egypt). About Jordan - they were blessed with a dictator king which is both smart (educated outside Jordan) and which is non-palestinian. If this theory is correct - and you will be the judge for yourself - the resolution is to patiently let time and events pass untill Palestinians realize that too OR like Jordan - they will have a smarter leader then them all. So - if that is true - Maybe some 10, 20 ,... more Jenin operations will do the trick? What do you say? ([Labret] Shut up! - no remarks from you) |

The way I read your post is that you are basically saying just let the situation play itself out. For the most part this is what the world has been doing, and if that is what the world wants to continue doing, so be it. I will remind everyone that what we now know as Vietnam, fought against its Chinese occupiers for 1800 years. |

So now you believe the Torah? But you are always protesting that the Jews have no claim to the land... Typical nazi stuff. The Torah is good if you can use it to bash Jews, and bad if it benefits them. |

When did I say I believed in the Torah? I just find it more than mildly ironic that the people that go around crying the most about being a persecuted minority who suffered at the hands of the evil Nazis, are guilty of the same exact atrocities. And what I find even more ironic is that they themselves chronicle their genocidal rampages in their holiest book. This isnt me making this shit up. Its straight from your book. Dont get mad at me for pointing out the obvious. Typical. |

You didn't answer the fact that you are lying about the Jews killing him. You point out a biblical passage that says the Jews didn't stop the Romans from killing him. So you haven't proven your silly assertion at all. As for the above post, you are babbling. You say in an earlier post that Jews are the biggest Nazis. Then you use the Torah to prove it. Then you say you don't believe the Torah??? You Nazis have an incredible gift for the illogical. |

I will let the Torah passages just speak for themselves.
Judaism advocates and condones the killing of non Hebrew children, and in fact celebrates it. Genocide is / was not only praciticed by generations of "Gods chosen people", but seen as a legitimate form of dealing with the enemy. And then they cry foul... Refute your own history. Go ahead, try. Quote:

I think you are smart enough to know the errancies in your post, but if not let me clarify. Is Labret lying, or is he mistaken in stating that the Jews killed Jesus? You stated: "You point out a biblical passage that says the Jews didn't stop the Romans from killing him." The verses he quoted from the bible indicates that it was the Jews that called for his execution. So to say that the Jews didn't stop the Romans from killing him, while technically correct, it is a misleading statement as to the actual truth of the verses quoted. According to the bible (which may, or may not contain, the actual truth of events), it was a Jew that betrayed Jesus, it was Jews that called for the death of Jesus and it was Jews that tormented Jesus on his way to execution. In addition one does not have to believe in the Torah/Bible to quote from them. It is a simple fact that the God of the Jews and the Jews themselves, as reported by the Torah/Bible, during biblical times, were extremely violent. While debating past history, or the contents of the Torah/Bible may be interesting, it offers little in the way of a solution for current events. |

And no, one doesn't have to believe in a book to quote from it. However, when one is using that book to back up his assertions, it might be helpful. As for your final point, I agree 100%. Labret's habit of injecting his nazi propaganda into a thread about the mideast conflict, offers little in the way of a solution. |

I dont want peace in the Middle East. My solution is to have the USA pull all support from Israel, and then let everyone duke it out. Zealot versus Zealot in the battle of the Century. I notice you did not have a response to my post on the first page. Maybe you missed it. "I thought we won the cold war because every President, and every Congress, since 1945 invested the money to stay ahead of the Soviets in military technology. It was called the arms race. Over that period of time we invested untold trillions of dollars. At the end of the cold war we had a military triad that was unmatched, around 50,000 nukes, and under President Reagan, research was begun on a missile defense shield. The Soviets weak economy broke under the pressure. Now I find out that those trillions of dollars were spent in vain; it was a speech that was provided to us by Israel that won the cold war. I feel educated. Thank you for the info. |

At last everything you stated is the voice of reason. I am fully aware, that we have used, and do use, the intelligence apparatus of Israel. I also am aware that we provide financial aid to Egypt. In fact, if I recall correctly, Egypt may be second only to Israel in the amount of aid we provide to any country. Where as Egypt can survive without our aid, and Israel cannot, because of the amount of aid we provide to Egypt, it gives us alot of influence over Egypt and of course even more influence over Israel. |

Maybe a freudian slip gave you away (or lack if knowledge about the USA) to some extent. You posted: "What country? I have lived portions of my life in several countries. I lived in a little forested country in the Northwest called "Washington", also lived in the following countries: Alaska, Oklahoma, Michigan, California." When did these states become countries? |

That would be a solution but I have alread responded to your proposal in a previous post. "To those of you that have suggested that the Palestinians pack up and leave; realistically this is not going to happen. The problem is not going to just go away." When the original partition was imposed there were indiginent people in the area. The partition allowed them land. They are demanding that land and they will not just pack up and leave. |

I'm with FATPad on this one. The fact is the Palestinions don't really have anything but their hatred and their religion. It's not about land, it's about a pupose to their lives.
Gallerypost, freedom of speech gets ugly sometimes, that's the price of doin' business. Labret, you need to work the christians into that theory some, it's their book too. |

FATPad:
One of the sticking points on the offer that was made is that of a contiguos border. They would still have been isolated in pockets, much like reservations (they are currently divided into 13 separate pockets) with Israel controling the area between the pockets. All though the offer would have reduced the number of these pockets, I don't know by how many. If I recall correctly the original partition allowed for this separtion to some extent, which was a piss poor idea in the first place. In addition some of the expanded settlements would have remained in place. Israel claims that they offered 97% of what the Palestinians wanted, but the Palestinians deny that claim, but go on to say that 97% of what is rightfully their land is not acceptable. In addition it is said that Israel would have maintained control over 80% of the water supply. If I recall correctly another sticking point was the right of return. The right of return was not acceptable to Israel. In other words those that fled the land to avoid the conflicts, would not be allowed to return. |
