P.S. If I were being accused of spam the chances of my flying to California to "settle" it are negative 5000%. What kind of idiot would fly to California to get some cuffs slapped on him one foot off the plane?

although I don't know the full details, I don't agree that this has to be settled 'face to face'... I wouldn't want to leave my loved ones, especially so close to christmas, to get a refund that's apparently entitled...

If it is not being resolved on the phone, and not via e mail or icq, what other choice is there. It's obvious both sides have issues with the other and it's not getting taken care of any other way then you do what you must do.

I am unsure why anyone would need to bring all of their content, and every document they have saying they work in adult to meet someone.

NOTHING can explain lying and stringing a client along for months because their partner made threats. Threats are to be expected in any service industry when stressed out people think they are getting screwed over.

If the service provider is a "stand up" professional, they will not take that threat as leverage and license to screw the client over and lie to them like that.

The only reason to NOT get on the plane is if you were actually spamming and did get those class c's booted. :2 cents:

If you did not SPAM or do anything else there is no reason to not get on the plane and work it out.

That's why I asked before if that's an American thing....in Canada at all the datacentres I know, they will easily block your C Class or null your IPs but never heard of any fines that go along with it. Maybe it's just their particular datacentre though.

Although, even in that case, I pretty sure any DC will give atleast one warning to the host before ANY such action. So the host, SI in this case, could have discontinued service / access to Bdjuf to avoid it going on and getting fined :2 cents:

Whoopity shit, he can wait 2 years for a court date and be found innocent! I'm sure he'll feel great knowing that the justice system will set him free while he's locked up awaiting trial.

This is true and I agree, but in my experience it's also going to depend on the amount of complaints, getting an entire class C banned is some pretty hardcore shit. I am not familar with this entire situation, it appears Bdjuf was notified that he did bring a fine, but only a couple people know exactly what happened.

I do agree there should be a warning, but if you take on a ton of complaints and get an entire class c banned the fine may have came with that. I am not 100% sure though

Yes he will be found guilty if he had any wrong doing or was spamming. I doubt any host has power over the gov to put someone in jail because they claim the person was a spammer. :1orglaugh
