So ya hosted some folks, that turn out to be spammer's they run up over 350 complaints in under two hours.

Keep the money, they damaged your business and could have potentially taken your company out of business doing such things.

Spam is illegal, especially if it was non compliant.
They should be reported.

You could have lost your Providers in the process.

End of story.

Maybe you should actually read before you post... The customer said they didn't use the servers (only 4 that they knew were online) other than to update the OS... SI said that what the customer said was 100% correct... Therefore, the customer wasn't spamming... SI also dropped a little something else later than someone may have hacked into those servers and were the ones spamming.

Split Infinity has every right to keep every penny, the spammer took the first swing and sounds like he did it quite shamelessly with 350 complaints in under an hour.

I had a very similar experience with Spilt. They took my money, didn't deliver, kept billing my card after I cancelled.

A Split Infinity tech (in this very thread) said that the servers had been compromised after being on the network for a day. Maybe service providers "oughtah" take a stand against putting unpatched boxes on their networks.
