I am strongly partial to my own friends and in general I am partial to Americans (me being one). I am not religious. Race does not play a role with me as numbered among my friends are those from different races...and of course Americans are of multiple races. I am partial to those of the same political persuasion as myself (a moderate with liberal leanings)...and I am not intolerant of those that legitimately differ.

So what is the count? By my count I meet two out of the five criteria for being a bigot. I suspect that you or not many will fare much better if they are honest.

To be honest...I of course have my prejudices (in my 48 years of experience on this earth I have found that most...if not all people...have their prejudices)...but I am not intolerant of any legitimate opinions that differ from my own. Keep the money, they damaged your business and could have potentially taken your company out of business doing such things.

Spam is illegal, especially if it was non compliant.
They should be reported.

You could have lost your Providers in the process.

Maybe you should actually read before you post... The customer said they didn't use the servers (only 4 that they knew were online) other than to update the OS... SI said that what the customer said was 100% correct... Therefore, the customer wasn't spamming... SI also dropped a little something else later than someone may have hacked into those servers and were the ones spamming.

A Split Infinity tech (in this very thread) said that the servers had been compromised after being on the network for a day. Maybe service providers "oughtah" take a stand against putting unpatched boxes on their networks.
