And a similar thread made me start looking at my sponsor sites - can't find any 2257 info easily available from the *webmaster* portions of the ARS sites (might be linked to from the actual paysites though, need to look) and Silvercash has 2257 info inside the member's area posted with the free content.

Edit: ARS paysites link to this page - it's just not easily found from within the member's area.

My 2257 info has always been on my site so I dont know why you have me listed as non compliant

I know that *this* thread is about content providers, but I'm going through some of my sponsors and their sites now and what I'm finding is downright scary.
The big guys have their stuff all in order, linked to right from the front page, but some of the smaller guys... eek. Makes me wonder what I should do about their webmaster content.

IN fact, some of the content was shot by someone who is no longer alive and the copyright is only held by ONE person. Is this your list of people that you THINK are content providers? Or, is this a list of content providers.
From where I'm standing, if someone like you puts up a list, and makes a stink about it, you could use it to help black list companies that YOU don?t consider important.
If your going to do the ?noble? and ?honorable? act of trying to ?help? webmasters find safe places to buy content then you should give all content providers an equal opportunity. If your only going to pick the companies you like, this is useless, though well thought out spam, and you should get a % of all sales that come from the links on that page.

As far as I know he composed a list of content providers he was aware of at that moment. If you're a more obscure provider, simply add your name to the list. It's funny how everyone seems to think Aaron is victimizing them when he's simply using the knowledge he was armed with BY LEGAL COUNCIL to let people know of something that's been a SERIOUS oversight by many webmasters for FAR TOO LONG. Someone has needed to do this for YEARS. Obviously with all the content providers on the list who were NOT 2257 compliant but have now come into compliance, you would think someone would see the USEFULNESS of what Aaron has done. He doesn't need to spam himself or make himself "look more important". He is an established member of this community and he has his client base already.. He's not so hurting for clients that he has to put other people down to trump up some business.

Wouldn't you rather be in full compliance with the law and protecting your customers, who are essentially your business, because without their trust and loyalty, you cah have all the pretty pictures in the world. If the customers don't come, they don't do you shit. I would. And if and when Ashhahahahaha and his crew come knocking, those who ARE in compliance will fare MUCH better than those who aren't. Why are people arguing this point so very hard? Stop taking it as a personal insult or attack, do what you have to do and you don't have a worry in the world aside from how much your next customer is going to spend, right? YOu are protecting yourself, you are protecting your customers, and you are doing something that will reflect well on the entire webmaster community as a whole.

As a sidenote, Aaron COULD have kept this information to himself and let those who weren't in compliance take the fall. If he was REALLY being an asshole, one phonecall would have been all it would have taken to create a WORLD of hurt in the industry.

My compliance is not an issue. I have good attorneys. AaronM can be an ass at times so you never know what he is up to. I did post to be on the list and was over looked, that is why I wrote the second response.

As for the list itself...As I initially stated, I pulled the main list from a resource site. If they site was not accessable when I checked on it then it was removed from the list. 2 of the deep oral sites were removed for other reasons as well. You were not on that list and to be honest, I do not recall knowing that you were a provider. You should take some self marketing classes.....oh, and hire a better attorney.

Perhaps instead of being a sassyass, you should have read the thread like a smart cookie. Your exact violation has been mentioned a few times already.

You have been added to the list. Next time, be careful what you ask for.
