New allegations lead to jail transfer
A man charged with statutory rape was moved from Sutter County Jail after allegations were made that he also victimized a child related to a Sheriff's Department employee.
Donny Pauling Jr. was booked into jail and charged with felonies after a 16-year-old girl told Sutter County sheriff's investigators on Nov. 30 that Pauling had sexual contact with her for the last three years.
Pauling pleaded not guilty to those charges last week.
That victim then disclosed on Saturday that there was a second victim, according to Lt. James Casner.
Casner said the department will keep Pauling out of its jail and hand the investigation over to the Sutter County District Attorney's Office "because the victim is related to one of our employees."
Pauling, 41, was moved to the Colusa County Jail on Saturday, "for security purposes" and "for transparency," Casner said.
Deputy District Attorney Anu Chopra said the second alleged victim has been interviewed and Chopra will be filing new charges.
Last week, Pauling was charged with lewd and lascivious acts with a child 14 or 15 when the defendant was at least more than 10 years older than the alleged victim and unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.
He is scheduled to return to Sutter County Superior Court today for a bail review hearing.
His bail is currently set at $500,000, which is five times the scheduled bail amount. When he was last in court, Chopra said the alleged victim reported Pauling was obsessed with her and she was scared.
Pauling is a local anti-porn activist who has given talks locally and nationally about the negative experiences of women and girls in the porn industry.

As much as I want to keep saying that some women take advantage of the neanderthal psychology that most humans have which basically considers all men guilty of whatever some bat shit crazy woman hurls at him I am having a difficult time with this particular case. Having a teenage girl living at your home who is not your daughter is just asking for trouble. And on top of that she is the one who is filming the chest waxing video of an obviously drunk Donny while he is playing with his nipples. The girl waxing him also looked young. He may be innocent of the rape charges but he is a dumb ass and a drama queen that is for sure.
