I read the news about Donny although we?ve not been connected in ministry for years and he has never been on staff, hearing the allegations makes me deeply saddened.


This stuff sucks more than anything. My best friend Jake doesn?t talk to me anymore because I called him out on an affair; he ended up leaving his wife and kids for someone else and ruined his life.

Now hearing this with Donny, is just so sad and frustrating. I saw some things in Donny?s life years ago and tried to sit down with him and put a plan of action into place, he refused and I feared this would not end well.

When you know how the story ends and you see it over and over in devastation, it just sucks. To be involved in a sex industry that coined the term ?happy endings?, I haven?t been around too many of them.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who are involved.

Yeah, not only did he not help his friend or his friend's wife, but it seems to me like he is trying to distance himself from Donny as well when he should be offering prayers, forgiveness, and consolation.

When I read what was posted by him I also thought it sounded like he saw something troubling years ago and chose to try to help him instead of reporting him. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but the way he wrote it comes off like he saw this coming for years.

in all seriousness if you had met Donny, had a few conversations with him you would know the ship is going down.

don't forget the part about a potential client that spent time with Donny and then would never speak to you again, or me for that matter...

It seems Donny had his arraignment yesterday and more information was given....

When discussing an appropriate bail amount, Deputy District Attorney Anu Chopra said the alleged victim told law enforcement that Pauling has a tracking device on her cellphone, obsesses about her, threatened to harm her and himself, and has two firearms. She said Pauling threatened to kill himself if she told law enforcement, Chopra said.

Pauling, 41, was charged with lewd and lascivious acts with a child 14 or 15 when the defendant was at least more than 10 years older than the alleged victim and unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. The crimes are alleged to have occurred between Oct. 1, 2012, and last month. A 16-year-old girl reported Sunday that Pauling had ongoing sexual contact with her for three years.

That's some fucked up shit right there.
