But there are also plenty of women who have buggered off, with their boss, or their husband's best friend, or some other shitbag idiot, and left their kids with the father. Where's the equity in your post?

This is priceless: My deadbeat ex was so delinquent that once they (I) found him, they are STILL garnishing his wages. My son died last year but would have been 23 in July. I will be getting these payments for at least the next 5-7 years and I haven't even sued for all the other stuff he owes me for.

Same here with my mother. When my parents got divorced, I lived with her as did my brother. I moved in with my Dad a year later. Legally there shouldn't have been any support payment - each was supporting a child. But he continued to pay her support, paid for my brother's car, college, clothes, etc. I never got a dime for ANYTHING from her. And she's the one with all the money, lol!!!

If my Dad was a day late with a payment, she'd call ME.

I think if you had read the post you are referring to, you would realize that they aren't bitching about paying the child support. They were saying that a lot of times that the money doesn't go to the child. Plus, starting a thread out of the blue and attacking people might not be the best way to get a point across. If I had a child, I would have no problem sending child support payments, but half of those payments should automatically be put into a fund for future education.

Well I can't say my dad is really any better. He was a raging, abusive alcoholic... BUT we never went without a meal, that, if I HAVE to pull good from it, was at last not our worries. Neither of my parents were even anything resembling a decent parent, much less a good one. But my point was.... that people seem to overlook the MOTHERS that are deadbeats, and I'd venture to say there are JUST as many of them.

BUT you know? In almost every case I have seen, the DADs do not bitch, they just care for their kids and do right by them, but the MOTHERs will bitch a blue streak for even a day late, as in your case, Peaches.

I have no kids so that means no child support.. however I know a few friends that have to pay it out and just about every one of them the women use the money for everything except the kids.

IMO as it was posted in the other thread, if the guy can go to jail for not paying then the wife should have to itemize where the money goes each month.

Most don't mind paying for the kids, they usually get pissed when they are still supporting the ex because she is spending the child support on herself.

You know I have to say that I have heard more stories about women who get their child support and then bitch that it's not enough while the father has the kid too. The kid is half the mothers and half the fathers, women want EQUAL rights these days then take EQUAL responsibility of the child. You want to be a cop, you want to be in the Army, you want to be a fire fighter than you can act like a man and step up to the plate and take half the responsibility of your child. I know there are dead beat Dad's out there, and they SUCK ASS, but lately I have heard way more stories of women being scorned bitches taking the child away from the father because they are pissed and feel they have more right's and then except the father to pay all HER fucking bills, makes me sick. You want to be treated equal than act equal. I have a friend whose bitch of an ex-wife thinks she is entitled to half of his money all because she laid down and spread her legs and got knocked up. FUCK THAT. You are both responsible and you should BOTH pay and raise the kid. Some women IMO are going too far with this shit and it pisses me off. The father has HALF the right to the baby as the mother and too many women feel kids are all theirs, fuck the Dad just give me your wallet.

I do know what you are talking about and the guys out there that don't help support their kids, financially and physically, are ASSHOLES and I completely agree with that. But I think women should be more careful with who they get knocked up by. In today's world there are so many choices out there to prevent pregnancy and too many times I see women use dropping a kid out as an excuse to try and keep a man and then are shocked when he doesn't want her. There is no excuse. You want control over your womb and the right to have an abortion then you should also take the responsibly to swallow a pill to prevent unwanted pregnancy, it's cheaper and healthier than an abortion. Same goes for a man, you don?t want a baby then wear a condom and check out the chick your fucking to see if she is on the pill. I know women can be sneaky and shit and I have a friend right now that I think is going to be in for a big surprise. He doesn?t want kids but his girlfriend does and I know she is a lying bitch so she will get pregnant when she wants to an trick him.

I tell ya, my other friend had to move out of his house that he built, give up his whole life, move into a tiny apartment, he gets his kids less than half the time, and pays for all her bills and she still complains. Why does it always have to be that way? Why can?t the father, who makes all the money, stay in the house and pay the bills and she get visitation rights? I am not talking about dead beat Dad?s I am talking about too many men out there who are stepping up to the plate to get burned because the women pushed the kid out. BULLSHIT! Equal rights, equal actions!

Okay carry on I have my spare bedroom to decorate, wallpaper, curtains, furniture to put together so I won?t be back for a while, I just want to say that I think too many good men in this country get burned because women feel they are more important than men when it comes to children. That too, my friend that had to move out of his house, the bitch had two houses, 6 fucking horses, a boat, three cars and all that shit from his money. She didn't use half the money she got from him for the kids, she wanted it for herself. Then when the kids needed braces he had to pay for it on top of the money he gave her. That is just WRONG! Men get the kids half the time, women get the kids the other half of the time, and you both get jobs. EQUAL RIGHTS!!! I swear it makes me want to puke. In one hand they say I don't want to be like the women of the 50's I want to be treated like a man and have the same rights, but then in the other hand once they push that kid out, they want to play house wife. You want to be treated like a man than act like one and take half the responsibility!

If we're talking about 'scumbag' fathers who don't pay I'm curious what happened to the 'fuck slut' mothers who want child support but refuse access (and in the UK at least, access can be a HUGE problem for fathers)?

But then in many cases child support here doesn't go to the child either. The State takes it all to reduce the amount they have to pay out.

I speak from experience when I say it's often a fuck site harder for a paying father who is denied access and for the child that cannot see its father than it is for the money grabbing slut mother and State.

Things are rarely one-sided and certainly aren't here. Long live Fathers For Justice (those in the UK will know who I mean)

My dad not only married my mom and took in her 4 kids from her previous marriage, but he also adopted them in full. He was 35 years old at the time, I was born about a year later. Not many men would do that today I'm sure, take responsibility for someone else's kids and raise them as their own.

He was and is a good father and a good example, for me anyway. After reading some of the replies in this thread I'll go count my lucky stars that I grew up with two good parents.

my girlfriend's ex don't pay shit, he doesn't have a job just because of this, he works under the table if ever, but you know fuck the money that is not what we want or expect from him, we expect him to be a father to his kid.

I have a daughter with another girl, and I see my kid alot, always buy her everything she needs and try my best to ship money to the mother whenever she needs something for my daughter, but nothing bugs me more than when I know its not going for my daughter. example. she says Jada needs clothes... so we go and buy her clothes and mail it to her, and my ex gets pissed off that I done that.. "curious to wonder why". than she tells me about all her money issues, car fines, her school etc. like I fucking care about that, I got my own problems to deal with. we are pretty good at dealing with this without the court and custody shit, but there are surely days where we are telling each other to fuck off.

and you know what... I would take my daughter full time in a heartbeat and not expect a penny for having her... I would send my daughter all the money possible if I knew every penny was being used for her.. when she is with me she gets spoiled.
