Well I can't say my dad is really any better. He was a raging, abusive alcoholic... BUT we never went without a meal, that, if I HAVE to pull good from it, was at last not our worries. Neither of my parents were even anything resembling a decent parent, much less a good one. But my point was.... that people seem to overlook the MOTHERS that are deadbeats, and I'd venture to say there are JUST as many of them.
BUT you know? In almost every case I have seen, the DADs do not bitch, they just care for their kids and do right by them, but the MOTHERs will bitch a blue streak for even a day late, as in your case, Peaches.
