Authorities say a pit bull has killed a 32-year-old woman in her Pacifica, Calif., home.

Officers were called after Darla Napora's husband arrived home a little after noon Thursday and found her lying injured on the living room floor.

Pacifica Police Capt. Dave Bertini said officers found Napora suffering from major trauma and unresponsive. Emergency personnel pronounced her dead at the scene.

Greg Napora told police that the couple's adult dog had attacked his wife while he was at work.

A police spokesman said officers shot and killed the dog as it approached emergency workers trying to assist the woman.

I have said this for years - the PitBulls are, no matter how you dice and slice it, a breed that needs to be exterminated.

Here is a funny thing about arguing about pit bulls.

I can take a dog.. say a Blue Heeler as a puppy. Raise it as a normal house dog adn not teach it anything. Instinctively, it runs around trying to herd things. That's OK and people will just say "well, thats what they are bred to do"

Then I can take a pit bull as a puppy. Raise it as a normal house dog and not teach it anything. It then attacks someone, hurting them badly or killing them. People then say "oh... it can't be the dog, it has to be the owners".

The other day in Melbourne a pit bull attacked a woman and her 4 year old child in the street the four year old died from her injuries.

If you ban pitbulls the trash that usually owns them will move on to another breed which will then become the new scapegoat. Pits aren't typically naturally aggressive or temperamental. I used to live in a city that banned pits and yes, pit attacks and complaints were non-existent. The scumbag pussies who wanted a pit would instead get a rott or a bull terrier (yes, really). Guess which dogs the city was considering banning next?

One of the only breeds I have seen that are naturally nasty is the chihuahua. Those rats should be eliminated world-wide.

And German Sheppards are trained to kill. Let's ban those. Akitas were trained to kill BEARS let's ban those. I'll take an Akita over a pit bull in a fight any day. Same with a rottweiler. I haven't been been attacked by a pit bull but I have been bit by a neighbor's German Sheppard on MY property unprovoked.

My next door neighbor has a pitbull. He's not a gangster type; He's very Cuban. However, they keep their dog in the side yard - all day and all night. They basically feed it. This is not the way to treat a dog. I take my dog running every day; My dog spends all day with me and lets us know when she needs to go out to poop (and then lets herself back in).

The pitbull is kept in the side yard next to the pool filter. Pool guy came in one morning to do his job, dog fucking attacked him.

My neighbor has two kids. It's only a matter of time before that dog snaps.

There sure are many violent animals and these might be very unpredictable.

some people just shouldn't own a dog that they can't handle. any dog at any time can turn on it's owner. especially when the owner doesn't know shit about dogs or how to train them. you don't even know why the dog attacked. how do you know this bitch never trained her dog to not let her near it's food? she might have just reached down to pet the fucker while the dog was eating and it instinctively fucking raped her.

i was almost mauled to death by a dog (japanese akita) as a child had it not been for an owner with a 2x4 i would have. so i've learned a little bit about dogs since then. breeds have a lot to do with the temperament of dogs but owners are responsible for knowing how to train them as well. if anything they should make it illegal to just hand out pets to unfit fucking owners. quit blaming the dogs for this shit.

I worked in an animal shelter, and pits get such a bad rap! You know what should be done, is eleminate dumb fucking closed minded people instead. This would could certainly use less of those!!

They should start charging the owners for what the dog does.

If your dog mauls someone or badly injures them the owner should be charged with a battery or some other violent crime.

If your dog kills someone then you should be charged with assisted homicide.

No it probably wouldn't stop the typical low life's that own pits and other aggressive dogs from owning them, but it would at least make them responsible for the dogs actions.

Sorry Crockett, I disagree with that cause good people own bad dogs all the time. That will have no effect like most laws and bi-laws and most likely would cause more harm than good like in Ontario where they have banned pitbulls and there dog attacks went up since pitbulls are not naturally in any-which way shape or form have any natural human aggression.

Education is the only real answer to most problems. We make laws to try to stop which generally make things worse. America is a Prime Example of Laws Gone Crazy and how its fucked up that country. The economy is just a cherry on top IMO.
