Well, now Israel has done it. They have actually provoked Turkey to the point that they may start a war over this incident massacre:

Turkey has threatened Israel with unprecedented action after Israeli forces attacked an aid vessel, killing 10 peace activists headed to Gaza.
Israel said 10 people died while those on the ship said at least 15 were killed.

A shocked world has responded with outrage. Turkey recalled its ambassador to Israel and warned of unprecedented and incalculable reprisals.

Two Turkish activists were reported to be among those killed in the flotilla. Ankara warned that further supply vessels will be sent to Gaza, escorted by the Turkish Navy, a development with unpredictable consequences.

If Turkey is promising to send new supplies with naval escort, then we're headed for an epic showdown between two of Americas closest allies. I don't think Obama is getting too much rest and relaxation this Memorial Day.

I don't support Israel. I could care less about Israel. I could care less if Israel is gone in the morning. I have family members that live in the Middle East, not far from where this is going down, and I can only count one Jewish friend who isn't really that much Jewish.

Everyone is stunned that a country attacked what is being called an innocent ship carrying humanitarian aid. I don't see it like that. I see this as a criminal action. Their intention was to run the blockade, they were warned not to, and then failed to obey international law when a warship ordered them to stop.

Newsflash - if you take a large ship and sail it from Bermuda to the United States, ordered to stop by the US Coast Guard, and refuse.... Well, at that point, shots are going to be fired. This is just common sense.

I don't understand your point. They could have disabled the ship by what - firing on it and taking it out? That only works in the movies.

And even if they could disable it, then what? Try to board then? Wait until it sinks? Wait until they surrender? Wait until another ship came to rescue them?

Israel starts these fights, everyone firing rockets into Israel is defending themselves most of the time. Why can't you understand that? Do you feel sorry for a bully that goes up and starts slapping people around when someone stands up for themselves? This is Israel starting the fights, breaking the cease fires and bringing this on themselves. What should people do as their relatives get killed, sit there and wait? No where have I stated that I support them in this situation...what I have stated is I understand why they do what they do...and why they did what they did in this situation. Understanding does not equal support. I will not change my stance...thank you very much.
