Shaggy,

Don't show me that again I am already pissed enough as it is. I hope every adult webmaster see it though.

With third party stats, SHAVING IS STILL POSSIBLE.

One of my ex-sponsors used ccbill stats. The first few 'sales' were all 'rebills' (converted trials or membership renews), NOT 'trials' nor 'recurs' (new sales)...

I thought the sponsor was stupid enough to shave me like that... evidence was there, if there were no sales in trials or full memberships, how could there be rebills...?! Of course again, the explanation from the sponsor - it was a bug.. :(

fang 12-10-2002 02:49 AM

Soooooo is anybody still sending these guys traffic and letting them get away with this shit?

BluMedia 12-10-2002 03:03 AM

Butter I am not sure why your ex-sponsors stats were like that but we would never shave period, if we could or not. I don't know how you could shave with CCBill. Once we had an error in someones CCBill's stats and overpaid an affiliate $1,000 but we decided to pay it anyway. I just don't get why any sponsor would ever shave because you want your webmasters to be happy with the program and stick around. Screwing them does nothing. Sure I want to make money but I refuse to screw anyone getting there.

There is no way a sponsor can pay $50 per signup when they only charge $35 or $40. We pay as much as possible and I don't see how sponsors can pay so much with all their content, hosting fees, advertising etc. I think when looking for an affiliate if they pay way over what their monthly fee is for members they would have to shave somewhere.

Even though we have been online since 1997 we have never shaved. This year we decided to go to 3rd party stats and payments, shaving is now impossible. I still don't understand why any sponsor would ever shave being they need webmasters to survive and are really responsible for their success. Everyone is so greedy and will walk over everyone to get their money, it really makes me sick.

Mark

Dude, you pay per ACTIVE signup, that's a completely different story. You don't have to shave. Active or partnership is the same... you know you will make a profit.

$40 per active is like paying $15 per trial.

I remember signing up for bluemedia 2 years ago and was pissed off after reading the terms... that's false advertising! If you pay $40 per active signup, promote it clearly.

Snake Doctor 12-10-2002 07:58 AM

Hey BlueMedia, if you're going to keep bumping this thread so you can spam your program and preach about how you would never shave, at least change your misleading signature to $40 per active member.

Saying you pay $40 per signup is very misleading and puts you in the same class as the company everyone in this thread has been bitching about.

You claimed ignorance about the "active member" concept at first, but its been thoroughly explained to you several times now. So if you're going to continue to preach about how fucking honest you are, walk it like you talk it and change your site and your sig

wrong thread to start spamming your prog.....me think

BluMedia 12-10-2002 08:17 PM

Lenny,

Well I guess I learned from other sponsors. Checking out their sites like TopBucks it clearly states Make $40 Per Signup. I have changed alot of my site to make it as clear as possible. I also changed my signature. I appreciate all the input good and bad since normally nobody ever says anything.

Thanks,
Mark

I would SERIOUSLY rather push a sponsor that pays me $9.99 per signup if they ABSOLUTELY did NOT shave. Think about it. Send 100 paying customers to "Mr. paypornsite.com" with no shaving thats $999. Use a 35 dollar per signup sponsor that shaves at 53 percent like most probably do... thats $1225. I think it's worth losing that $225 knowing full well that your traffic is being rewarded 100 percent. And if iw anted to gain that extra $225 I'd just push more fucking traffic to it. Push too much traffic to a shaving sponsor and earn too much, they will just find an excuse to delete you as what has happened with many people I know raking in $$$$ off pay-per-click sponsors OR they would increse the number of razor blades to a nice 70+ shave.

I happen to agree with most of what you said above, except that when you sell 100 paying customers to the paysite at $10 each you get more than the $1000, because you get rebills for month after month off the same sales.

www.tatgirls.com for example uses globill for links/payments and has no trials, so every signup you get $10 plus the recurring which is about 70% of each member per month. So over time the 100 sales would pay you aprox $3,000.

I don't want to interupt this thread or anything, I just wanted to point out the power behind recurring. After all, it is recurring that currently drives the adult internet.

well, that's like u've seen someone banging ur wife after u thought she's cheating u for years.

nothing new, but how fucking shocking

would to see their upsell stats tho :p
have no idea about usual %% of upsells from a 2.95 trial, like 20-30% probably?

making $10-12k extra for these guys, what do u think?

Cant blame that on my text links!

sorry to say, but if u have sent 1000 hits in 2 weeks that equals 70 hits per day and if u had 1:35 ratios before means u were getting two sales a day beofre and now not a sale in two weeks?

just didn't geddit

orphan reave 12-11-2002 03:11 AM

Lastnight in my mail

Dear webmaster,

We decided to stop the Dollars4All program due to constant fighting with hackers over the 3 years we have been running this program now. This even resulted in giving us a bad name in this industry recently. Although allegations were not true, we lost the fun in running Dollars4All now.

Please remove all links to the program as soon as possible; before the New Year they will stop working.

All payments will be processed in the first week of the next month as usually.

We thank you for using Dollars4All over the past period of time.

Best regards,

Team Dollars4All

DemonWolfe 12-14-2002 01:25 AM

I just recieved that email as well.

jimmyf 12-14-2002 04:45 AM

I wonder if this post is why they are closing this program down. Also wonder were and how they will pop up again?

BluMedia 12-14-2002 03:00 PM

Wow this even gets more interesting. I don't quite get why they said they have had problems with hackers for the past 3 years.
If they had that many problems with hackers they could of hired someone to make their network and server more secure. Where is the original person who posted the message?

Well perhaps this was true! I think it was seeing my comments were late but still for what I saw, it looked horrible! I wouldn't touch anything coming from anywhere in the netherlands nor Ozzy land either, Amsterdam too.. some of the best breathtaking
views for what I saw but saidly headaches for the cash to flow in?
lastly good job dude (hacker) :thumbsup
they'll probably close there doors and be up and running with another name.. sorta like cashcow.com did many moons ago.
Mr. hacker needs to hit some of the bigger fish! he.he. that would be fun! theres a few I have in mind.. expose them shake em down..watch them tumble... Keep it up Mr. Hacker that was a full grinner.. you need to start teaching that method for sure..
or sell the CD then you wouldn't have to dabble with this circus
.. ha.ha. very good..
