Please help this poor neglected dog. *Warning sad pics*

Paypal: [email protected]

I can?t even begin to imagine what this poor dog went through to become this way. When I saw her I just balled my eyes out. I can?t believe a human being would do this to such a beautiful animal. I cannot wait to see how pretty she will be, if she survives. The German Shepherd Rescue place is a nonprofit, no-kill rescue committed to saving all types of German Shepherd Dogs from high kill shelters and adopting them to loving, qualified homes. All the workers are volunteers and they receive no government help. So I thought I would come here and see if all the animal lovers and dog lovers would mind donating anything at all to help this poor girl. $20 from 20 people is $400. Any amount will help this poor dog, so if we come together and raise as much as possible, no amount is too small, and get enough to get this baby on her feet and happy she can live a very happy life. I wish I could donate money to find the fucker who did this and kick the living shit out of him, but they won?t give me that information. Apparently he is being taken care of, from what I hear.

I was on the phone last night with one of the ladies at the shelter and asked her if she could send me update emails on Ina progress so I could send the emails to everyone who donated and who is interested, and she said no problem. So I will send her updates to you all. Who knows maybe one of you will want to adopt her once she is healthy, shiny, and ready for a loving home. I have seen pictures of GSD?s that were worse that her, if you can imagine that, and after all the medical care and love, I couldn?t believe it was the same dog. Pictures below! So I know firsthand that Ina will be beautiful and coming from the hell she was put through will probably be the best dog anyone could ever ask for. If anyone is interested in adopting her once she is healthy, let me know and I will set you up with everything you need to make sure you are the first on the list to bring her home to your family.

INA IS FIGHTING SEVERE PNEUMONIA
Sweet Ina is one of the thinnest shepherds we've ever seen. She's nothing but skin and bones. On top of her being so emaciated, she has pneumonia and is on 24 hour care at the vet hospital. She's hooked on IVs to make sure she gets some nutrition in her. Our volunteers visit her in shifts and bring her cheeseburgers, chicken strips and anything we can think of she might eat. She says 'Thank you' with some soft kisses. It's so hard to look at that adorable face knowing she's so sick.

Paypal: [email protected]

I am planning on driving over to rescue another GDS who has been in a shelter for 6 months and really needs a home. My parents surprised me by donating $300, the cost for adoption, as a Get Well Gift for my recovery from back surgery, a gift for Coty, and a motivator to get me walking everyday twice a day to help strengthen my back. The cost to rescue a dog from the shelter all goes to feeding and caring for all the dogs they have at the shelter, and they have quite a few dogs. The 3 year old male dog I had mentioned to my parents over the phone is beautiful. I will show pictures of him later, right now this is about Ina.

When I drive over with Coty to introduce her to her new brother, I will take my own pictures of Ina. This whole experience has brought me Coty, my new male rescue, and now to help Ina.

Here is a picture of the other dog that was brought in and someone donated 5k to help him. He was locked in a cage and you can see the scabs on his legs of his trying to get out to get food and water. I can?t believe it?s the same dog. This is what I would like to do for Ina. Someone treated Ina the same way so I know we can help her as well.

Let's make Ina as healthy! Hopefully when she is healthy one of you will want to make her a member of your family. I have a female so they won't let me adopt another female or I would take her. So I am doing this for her and helping her find a home.

Thank you guys, I can't stop crying over this. It breaks my heart.

I hate seeing that happen to a dog, sheperds make great pets, they're great around kids, then some asshat does that to them

Can someone please help bengtarne to make a donation to Ina?

Hey Loryn... I really admire people like you who commit themselves to worthy causes, you're really incredible. You can put your employer down for $500 That should get you a good deal closer to your goal and still leave room for others to donate... LMK if there's any shortfall (I'm sure there won't be...).

Come on now all you fuckers, jump in, the poor dog needs your help...

Atta Boy.. NICE

While I appreciate the thoughts behind the outpouring here I'd like to inject a bit of reality into the situation here.

In THIS country there are many many children who are in a worse situation than that dog.

There are adults as well, now if they landed that way as a result of their own decisions I have no sympathy, but many do not. I had spinal surgery about a year and a half ago and as lucky as I was to have pretty decent insurance it still cost me a LOT of money, I mean a lot....I'm still paying the bills.

Had I not had insurance and resources to pay I'd currently be in worse shape than that dog.

My point here, is don't lose track of the reality that in the long run, people are more important than animals, specially children. Don't forget them when you get all misty over an emaciated canine.

Who says she has lost track of reality? Because she wants to save a dog she somehow doesnt care about starving children? Shouldnt it be her choice on what she devotes her time and resources to without having someone come preach about how other causes are more important? Wouldnt the money that was spent on your surgury have better been served saving possibly hundreds of orphaned hungry children in Africa? Afterall you have a few more years left and those children have their entire future ahead of them...right?

I had major back surgery 3 months ago that cost $250k. That was just one of many surgeries. I can take care of myself. I know there are horrible things that happen all over the world. I can't save everyone and everything. If I come on here and say I am saving cancer, someone would bitch that aids is better. If I come on here and say I am saving the homeless, someone would say children are better. Instead of bitching about someone helping one situation why don't you get off your ass and try to help the cause you feel is important!

No hard feelings though, just don't say I am losing track of reality. I am planning on having a child in about 3 to 4 years and when I do, I am adopting a child as well. So I can do many things at once. I have always done that and I always will.
