YES absolutely, but what does that have to do with anything, I happen to like the product and like I say I use it worldwide never any problems. They pay for advertising on my various mediums, NOT to defend them

Shaliza needs to stick to posting contest threads and stay out of matters she knows nothing about.

If you insult them, what are the odds they will continue to use your services?
If you defend them (ie kiss butt) do you think your odds increase?

Common sense.

Sorry its NOT about kissing butt, I happen to like the servie and will say it so, contrary to other popular bashing opinion. If they stopped advertising I would still say the same thing. Love the convenience and ease of use of the card. So you need to bark up another tree

you are pretty obviously vocally supportive for anyone who throws money your way, or if they are your buddies...that is something everyone has noticed for a long time man, there isn't anything wrong with protecting your investment, but no one really takes you all that seriously when you defend people that throw money at you

Does it bother you that I get along with people? I am here for business unlike some people. If people are supportive of you, would you not return the favour in kind?

LOL....where the hell did you get that from?

I am just stating the obvious dude, epassporte fucks up, and A LOT, yet their favorite cheerleaders always come to their rescue to chant their praises of joy, and it is the most transparent cheer on this board\

honestly, if there were more than the one group of people that came to epassportes rescue time and time again, it would be way different, but aside from occasional straggler that comes in and states "they have never done me wrong", it is the same people over and over again cheering from the balcony

Just because you have never has an issue with epassporte doesn't mean the issues are not there, and any idiot can read one of these threads and see where the issues lie, yet you just turn your head up every time and cheer cheer cheer....how about instead of cheering, do something constructive for that company you love so much and work with them to resolve some of these CS issues they have, are you that much of a team player, or are you just what everyone assumes you are, a cheerleader?

yes, you are right, if someone was supportive (monetary or other ways) to me, I would return the favor, I always do

but when there is money involved, and people know that company A is paying me money on a monthly basis for a service and there is a favoritism in place because they pay me that money, I would NEVER get in the middle of ANY drama that company has on any board, because that would it make me look like a fool for stepping into a situation where I was biased, whether I used their service or not, and whether I loved their service or not, it would not be fair to others to lay my biased views on the table

Well since I took the time to read this whole thread, I guess I'm entitled to post my experiences/thoughts on it

1) Some of Shaliza's replies in this thread are completely unprofessional. Someone in her position should know better. True it's the Adult Industry and it's GFY, but their product is pretty mainstream (payment/billing/finance related) and people usually expect professionalism form that type of company. Trust me, sometimes it'd be too easy (and fun!) to reply to people with large amounts of saracasm and ridicule, but if you are representing a company, I don't think they'd appreciate that much

2) Michael O. has always given me and my gf great support with our epassporte issues. In a case like this, my opinion is it's probably mostly out of his hands and above his head, so it's not his fault.

3) ePassporte phone support are still worse than thinking-impaired monkeys.

4) ePassporte the service itself, ROCKS. I don't own any credit cards and it really helps me out when traveling, in some countries it even gives me a few %s better exchange rates than the banks do It also let's me make online purchases, and it's always worked here anywhere I go in Costa Rica.

5) My suggestion to ePassporte is to always have the original agent who replied to the first email be the only point of contact from then onwards. This will avoid miscommunication, etc... Of course they may have to escalate the situation to get answers, but their superior should reply back to them (the agent) and only th shoudl contact the customer.

6) When I first read the main email in question here, what I understood was "your funds are available again for use - like say online use, transfers to anoher account, etc...) but still don't try to withraw via ACH until we say so". However I can see how it's vague and could be interpreted the way Sleeves did, so I guess next time they shoudl just spell it out a little more obvious so there is no guessing involved.

That's my piece, here's to Sleeves getting his cash and me one day visiting GFY and not seeing any ePassporte drama threads

mt local bank has their online system setup so that there is a "Actual Balance" and "Available Balance"...the actual balance is the real amount of money in there, the Avialable balance is how much money I have avasilable to me, subtracting the money that people have holds on

why can't epassporte do something like that?

Yeah my bank does the same, shows me 'frozen' money (authorizations not yet settled). There are a lot of features form online banking ePassporte could implement to imprve their system

From what I understood though from the email he posted, the money was not held or frozen. If he tried to transfer it to someone or pay online or use the debit card if he had it, it would have worked. However like I said that's how I understood it, but t's easy to see how he would have thought it was available for him to try and withdraw via ACH again.

Exactly. I've seen ePassporte reps act completely unprofessional on GFY a number of times. I'm about ready to stop using them. You're dealing with my money for crying out loud.

A few things if they put the money back in your account and then say dont touch it.You really dont have it. Here is my guess what the problem is :
No real customer service training, I worked as a service advisor almost as long as I worked in adult when I was in NY. How you present things to a customer makes a difference. I was getting a customers Jaguar ran it into a concrete column. I handled it got him a rental, apologized sincerely and got it fixed .He was still my customer the next 2 yrs I was there before I left for GA. I would also bet this comes from above because it seems a common thread with the customer service people there. Attitude come from the top and rolls down.

Which of itself is fair enough, but how relevant are such observations? As I wrote in a thread explaining my 3-week tussle to get a replacement for my expired Electron, even EP's worst critics cannot imagine they don't conduct most of their business as expected. When all is said and done, the vast majority of their transactions are automated from end to end, so isn't that inevitable?

Which in turn means that the number of customers with genuine grievances must be in a minority. But isn't the way these customers are treated a much better barometer of the company's real character than its handling of routine business? Nor is it the slightest consolation to people who are unlucky enough to get jerked around, to be reminded that they are in a minority. So what? Does that somehow put a better face on the way they are being treated?

It is only in YOUR personal opinion that my views are biased. It is not what I feel and just because there is a mob mentality on this board. I am not going to stop saying what I beleive in.
There is a silent majority out there who are quite happy with the service Epassporte provides, but they cant be bothered coming and posting in these threads because they are too busy making a living to get involved in a pissing contest.
If in your opinion I look like a fool so be it, its not the first time or the last I'm sure its been said. So have a great day, thanks for the bumps

And the obvious you are stating indeed. You're praising them for something they don't actually make an effort to perform. Those bashing them are actually bashing them for the same reason. You're happy now, but put yourself in sleeves' shoes, how comfortable would that make you? It's one of the reasons why I still watch for epassporte threads on a daily basis, simply because "what if?" The only problems I ever had with epass were solved, but that, along with the amount of complaint threads happening on a daily basis, still doesn't help inspire trust in the company, for me.

I have to laugh at Jace. He posted on Oprano yesterday that he's put me on ignore on every board I post on because I'm too negative and only post to stir shit. He said everyone notices it and I just saw him tell JFK that everyone notices how he promotes people he likes. So I want to know two things. First, how is it that he knows what everyone notices, and second, how can he condemn me for arguing with someone when I think they're wrong and then attack JFK for saying something nice about ePassporte?

He supposedly has me on ignore, so I guess he'll never see this post anyway, but I still thought it was funny to see him jump JFK's shit.
