If you are convinced there were bombs in the buildings, why are you all so obsessed with the idea that your own government was the one that planted them?

Has anyone ever considered that maybe the terrorists did - you know how they like to make very big, public attacks and pre-planting the bombs would ensure the buildings came down. Hey, it's not like Al Qaeda hasn't used bombs before!

And since most terrorists allegedly involved in this attack are either dead or hiding, it's not like they are going to be able to go on record and say "yeah, we planted the bombs" or deny it.

I have seen just about every piece of film on 9-11 as well as being there, and this is the first time I have ever heard these "booms".

You would think that some other tape that was maybe a little closer to the action than Hoboken, would have the same sounds.

i never got the bombing by helicopters...i could see a possible detonation plan but they werent bombing the thing

Just to add in two more theories floating around that kinda answer two questions in this thread:

First - Bin Laden has been with Bush - and his father many times. His name was Tim Osman (Ossman) when he was working with the CIA a long time ago - of course that brings up the point that answers why we didnt go after Saddam during the first war - the US had provided most of the WMD's to Saddam that he used during the Iran-Iraq war - the intermediary used was bin Laden working with the CIA. The US didnt really want to reveal pictures of the WMD with US company names written all over it - we had done the supplying as Russia was supplying Iran at the time and we were still in that little cold war era.
Which is why we always knew that Saddam had WMD at some point - that chemical weapon he used to wipe out one village was supplied by the US

Again - no theories here - this is just all ancient history that most Americans have either forgotten that are as old as me or just dont care about.
Although I should throw in the newest theory that most of the tapes that have been released of Bin Laden have been discounted by the Arab world as fakes - including his own mother - but thats just some fuel for the fire :)

Second - in a kinda answer to the statement about the worlds billionaires making a killing and sitting back at the country club - yeah that part really happened - it was actually a celebrity golf tournament hosted by Warren Buffett (not something he would normally do as he is not known to very charitable) but he planned this one quite a while in advance - seems that golf course was on the grounds of U.S. Strategic Command headquarters located at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha Nebraska - which is the same place Bush was flown to later in the day. Seems one other person was flown there earlier in the day (as a matter of fact she arrived just to watch as the plane entered the side of the building right on her floor right in her office window) and for some reason she also normally didnt partake of charity events - but being the chief executive of Fudiciary Trust Co and her office being right where the plane aimed in and her being at exactly the same place that day as two other people just doesnt add up. But then Anne Tatlock did control $44 bill in assets and it probably wouldnt have been right for her to die along with her 89 employees that did die in her office space.

That concept is really quite juvenile.
Seriously if there was a "conspiracy" of any kind prepared to go to that extreme,,,,

It would be much simpler to plant "weapons of mass destruction" in Iraq.
Rally the world against Iraq.

The guy they have on the stand said today that Bin Laden approved the plan, all the hijackers are the same guys the feds said they were and he himself and the shoe bomber were supposed to hijack another plane and fly it into the White House. I'm all for questioning the government, and I really resent you questioning my patriotism. Like I said in previous posts, I absolutely despise this current administration. I think they are the most corrupt that we have ever had and probably will ever see.

That said, the size and scope of this "conspiracy" would have to be so huge and include so many people, that it just seems ridiculous to me. All the people "in on it" would be in the thousands if not tens of thousands, and no one would leak info. Please.

I was there that day, and have just a tad different perspective than you people watching it on tv. It's just like the Iraq war, it looks terrible to me on tv, but I bet the guys over there think it's a million times worse. In reality, I have no clue, because I have never been there. It is impossible, unless somehow the laws of physics were suspended on that day. Yeah, and they found one of the terrorist's passports on top of the rubble. The planes were incinerated but a piece of paper from a man's pocket survived. You government apologists literally believe modern day fairy tales. I would be surprised if a 6 year old would believe a story like that, yet apparently at least 30-40% of ADULTS in the US believe this. It would be comical if it weren't so terrifying.

Most of the cover up is people just wanting to keep the status quo. The news agencies are not directly involved, they just do what they always do and report what the government wants them to report, and nothing more.

It became pretty obvious that the government was directly involved when they authenticated the fake Bin Laden confession tape. To this date this is the only evidence that anyone has that Bin Laden was involved, after all the Al Qeada documents and computers they've seized, they've never found one thing about the 9/11 attacks. That tape was the most obvious fake I've ever seen, of course the only quote it on TV, they don't play it, but anyone who's seen it would have no doubt that it's fake. It's a completely different guy. Different nose, different eyes, different face, different voice. Yet to this date morons will say "Bin Laden confessed!"

The conspirators knew that the majority of people would rather pretend to be asleep than to face the consequences that would come from knowing the truth. They also knew that most people would make up ways to justify ignoring the conspiracy possibility, as you have. You're basically saying that it would be impossible to carry out, so let's just accept the cover up and not investigate. As the Chinese say, it's impossible to wake up a man who is pretending to sleep. I suspect that in their hearts, at least 90% of Americans know that their government is responsible for 9/11. They're just too scared to admit it to themselves.

The Iraq war was secondary, the primary goal of the staged 9/11 attacks were to have us willingly give up our rights, as we have in a major way ever since.
