I pointed this out 2 weeks ago to a few reps from the programs I send traffic to. Any sites processed by CCbill have been producing fluctuating ratios like I have never seen before.

I posed about this earlier....Like I said in my other thread, yesterday was one of our best days lately, and today has been jack shit!

1:4781 yesterday
0:16532 today...

this is rediculous.

I think it is useful to post questions to other people in the biz to see how their numbers have been. It is important to ask the people at CCbill if they have seen any strange fluctuations as well. CCbill has always shot straight with me. They are great in my opinion.

I was sitting over here going lunatic about it and now I see there is some serious bullshit going on with ccbill lately! Cannot place my finger on it, but several things are bothering me about ccbill stats lately, been some weird stats along with the heavily reported low and extremely low sales for everyone! Today I checked join page stats after clicking on my join page about a dozen times to see if it was woriking and the hits were not being counted! WTF ?? I figure its a lag, or broadband glitch or something, then 5 hours later they are beginning to get tracked again.

These events are very suspicious to me because they are so unusual. My join page hits have actually quadrupled for the month of march but my sales have been the lowest all year, way below average. Since it is not just me, there must be some explanation! Hopefully someone will provide some clarity!

Adam,

The same response was posted by myself in the other two threads due to them all involving a similar issue. People who believe that an issue might exist with their accounts were notified that we have support that is ready to assist them 24/7. I prefer this as it keeps the accounts on a professional level rather then posting information on a board for everyone to view.

Regards,

Regards,

Well James, getting the standard "we're not having problems on our end" doesn't really do me any good. Which is what I get when I contact you guys. I'm not saying that you guys are feeding me a line, but I post on the boards to see if other people are having the same problems.

I use the boards as a barometer to measure my ratios by. If everyone is having bad ratios, then that lets me know that either A. that the people with credit cards aren't actually horny enough to buy memberships all around the world or B. that there may be some issues with processors as that is the common denominator.

And honestly, maybe you guys are having a problem and don't know it. With enough similar feedback from enough people on the boards, maybe that will launch an investigation that may reveal and issue.

Just because it's on the boards, does not mean it's unprofessional. The response I already received from support seemed canned and dismissive, so I chose to get a consensus from people in the industry to see if they are seeing the same thing I am.

Look, whatever. I have seen a normal amount of sales coming in today, just like everyday. Sales from the same people who have been promoting my stuff for years in some cases. Was steady, Is steady and the stats show thats it's as steady as it ever has been. What do you do again? How do you contribute to our industry other that use air? Are you not the same person who JUST learned what a CCBILL void was 4 days ago? Ya, your mister brite one.

Patmccrotch,

Hi, this is Mark from CCBill. Our overall ratios look normal and average, sales are going through as normal. If you think that something is not working correctly, I suggest that you use your own or a friends card to test the signup out. That way you get a real-world test of whether something is or is not working for you and if you discover that it does not go through, shoot me an email with the email address you used and ill check out the exact reason.

My own experience has been that sales are not always consistent, some days/weeks are better than others, some are worse, Fridays and weekends are good, Tues/Wed are normally not the best days of the week, there are many other factors involved. CCBill can only fix something that is not working properly, and I assure you that we do our best to keep things working as they should.

Of course. My mistake. I was wrong to question someone who didn't know the meaning of VOID. You, my friend, don't sound like a moron at all.

The question in CCbill stats was raised, I checked my logs and no discrepancy was located. Hence, the posting of a reply showing that outcome in a relevant manner. No foul. No harm. But none the less, a case where you might want to look over your own house to see if there might be an issue to deal with.

Listen you said the problem is that the content the people are using is old. That was a stupid statement and I critisized you for it. You made a bad judgment call to promote your affiliate program...so just suck it up and get over it.

I can appreaciate the fact that you want to be professional. All in all, I have nothing but love for CCBill.

But you have to understand, when more than a couple people are all complaining about the same thing, it becomes a industy problem not a per client problem. These boards are a great place to openly discuss the good and the bad.

My point was that CCBill just needs to come in and say something and address the situtation since so many are affected.

Actually, thanks for pointing that out. I had a designer working on different pages around the site and missed that error. I don't do my design work and a error tends to get though on occation. But since I see it now, I will have it fixed.

More interesting is that I see a transaction in the sponsors stats for today but there is no transaction like that in CCBILL stats.

(The sponsors uses ccbill but tracks the hits in its own interface)

No problem, can I actually suggest for faster loading to put the text into html instead of taking one big image and cutting it up. It will have faster loading time.

Yea everybody loves ccbill, its my biggest check of the week and I just want to keep it that way. Here on the boards you guys just get an honest feedback and could get the whole picture of whats going on. Nobody is trying to undermine ccbill.

I third that statement. Much love to the CCBill folks. Definitely not trying to bash them, just trying to see if I'm the only one in the boat.

On it. Going to have the guys over at Mansion redo the page for me. Already talked to Oystein about it quickly and Email already sent to the design team. (They did NOT make the exsiting page to to make sure everyone knows that, but I will not use someone again that would make this type of error.) So, this thread has actually done me a service.

[email protected]
Nothing is wrong??? I'm seeing people complaining about bad sales the last 2 weeks on the FlashCash board and also people complaining on the pimproll board for the same period of time.. On the pimproll board the pimproll staff said "Paycom and CCBill were having throughput problems."

So who and what are we supposed to believe??? It's situations like this that make us feel like we're just being fed a line.

I was going to type more or less the exact same reply, thanks for saving me the 2 minutes

Believe yourself. Use your own credit card on a site and see if it gets accepted and you get credited, have your friends do it from different areas with different cards as a way of troubleshooting to see if it is a processing issue or some other possible issue. The parameters of what we accept and don?t accept do not change on a consistent basis, quite the opposite...

Example: Last year the day that Star Wars Episode 3 came out = horrible sales day for many sites..3 days later an article was on cnn explaining that an enormous amount of people took the day off from school/work to see it

I have heard that right now we are in a 3 week spring break window and that may be the cause of your concern...that demographic likes to use their credit cards..+ Spring Break tends to attract other people (not in school) who like to be around spring breakers ...its a theory

Im the first to bitch at CCBill if i notice a decline in sales for any reason, Mark and Paul are usually the 1st 2 people i contact on ICQ, in that order bitching that i think CCBill sales are down and, i have to say, right now, we're rocking with sales.

A few weeks ago we had similar problems that many are reporting in this thread now however, for us, its business better than usual through CCBill

Regards,

Lee

also let me be clear and my post(the one now above European Lees) did not intend to have a defensive tone, if there is any issue within our control, we have an huge interest in solving it quickly, as our revenue is a factor of your revenue

The guys at Ccbill certainly know what they are doing and would not hinder sales to reduce chargebacks. All of the processors scrub as necessary to keep fraud down but they want to maximize sales as well or nobody makes money.

I wondered if it has to do with the cookies clearing out? seems like I do way better with programs that have multi processors and that use thier own sales tracking.

To save me re-typing it all, just see my previous two posts on this topic:

I really hate threads that go on and on about scrubbing, when not one person has posted thier declines stats, which is what scrubbing is. See the second post on how to get your program owner to give you your scrubbing/declines stats.

CCBill you could really do yourselves a favour by allowing affiliates to see thier declines (aka "scrubbing") stats, as you allow program owners to do. Until you do you are going to continue to have these threads like clockwork, and the myth of variable scrubbing will continue.

Yeah, I know it's spring break time and had mentioned that to a few people who were complaining about reduced sales... Myself and most others however, are seeing just as much traffic (in some cases more) as prior to the poor sales. Two programs, FlashCash and Pimproll, both said sales and conversions were down.. Then one of them said it was a throughput problem with Paycom AND ccBill.... I've been doing this for almost 5 years now so fully understand the ups and down. And I don't really care what the problem might be, I just want to know if there was/is one or not and what it was/is so I can adjust things if I feel it's necessary.

Was there a "throughput" problem? I'm not even sure what that would be but I would think it wouldn't even show up as lost sales (scrubbing declines etc.), just a decline in sales.
