Example: Last year the day that Star Wars Episode 3 came out = horrible sales day for many sites..3 days later an article was on cnn explaining that an enormous amount of people took the day off from school/work to see it

I have heard that right now we are in a 3 week spring break window and that may be the cause of your concern...that demographic likes to use their credit cards..+ Spring Break tends to attract other people (not in school) who like to be around spring breakers ...its a theory
Yeah, I know it's spring break time and had mentioned that to a few people who were complaining about reduced sales... Myself and most others however, are seeing just as much traffic (in some cases more) as prior to the poor sales. Two programs, FlashCash and Pimproll, both said sales and conversions were down.. Then one of them said it was a throughput problem with Paycom AND ccBill.... I've been doing this for almost 5 years now so fully understand the ups and down. And I don't really care what the problem might be, I just want to know if there was/is one or not and what it was/is so I can adjust things if I feel it's necessary.

Was there a "throughput" problem? I'm not even sure what that would be but I would think it wouldn't even show up as lost sales (scrubbing declines etc.), just a decline in sales.
