Today my personal trainer told me that (pic)

It's possible to drink TOO MUCH water. It's called "hyponatremia" or "water intoxication." I didn't believe that cause people always say to drink a shitload of water, espescially when you're doing physical activities, so I researched that shit. i am not reading anything, from what i know... it can only happen in the most extreme circumstances - i.e. marching across death valley and becoming extremely dehydrated and then drinking 1-2 gallons of water. i dont think it can happen under any normal circumstaces - like walking around drinking water all day.

drinking too much water however can deplete your body of water soluable vitamins and some minerals.

how are you supposed to get any work done drinking water all the time? You end up having to piss.

its a pretty well known fact water can kill you but you got to be in the most dire circumstance like a dehydrated kid in africa all of a sudden getting their hands on a gallon of water. Its the same with starving kids. They cant take in as much as they normally would or they could kill themselves. I'm sure none of us have to worry about killing ourselves through water or food.

managing water consumption is pretty simple - your body tells you when you need fluids. If you feel thirsty - drink. If you feel like you are forcing yourself to drink water, don't.
