I generally am staying out of this as it doesnt entirely concern me. I was hired to do a job, i asked about my paramaters and I stayed within those parameters.

Here is what I will say though.

I dont know Fletch. I do know donny.

IN the time I've worked with him he's been pretty much upright on everything he's done and talked about having done. I cannot fathom sitting here and reading the other drama threads on this topic fast enough to keep up though I am desperately trying to.

If donny was as fair and upfront to fletch as he was to me then I dont have a clue where things fell apart. I"m pretty sure he was that upfront and fair.

In designing some things for the blog I presumed that if I ever walked away from the project all my creatives were going to become property of Donnys Money. Why wouldnt it? I cannot fathom why when I was ready to walk away I could take everything I put into the business with me. That's just not how it fucking works. It doesnt work that way in the 'real world' and I cannot imagine why it does in the adult world either.

As for the simple math of it, fletch seems to be grabbing every dime he can. I dont know much about fletch and probably never will but it would be sad if that's the case. especially for such a small sum.

Either way I think his tour was decent. I think the one we've worked on together is also decent. I can see why his stopped converting, it doesnt seem to have been udpated for a long time. The entire point of a dynamic tour is that it changes and remains dynamic, isnt it?

Just my 2 cents.

Fletch has asked that donny remove his creatives and stop using it and I cannot say that donny should or shouldnt do this. But I will say that if that is the choice he makes I will eagerly step up to plate and help him resolve that decision, and quickly replace the creatives. I'll also be glad to fill the hole left by removing these galleries by designing more of my own for our partnership. I was hired to do a job and I'll follow it through as instructed.

Until then its in donny's lap.

You cant make a partnership plus an initial payment and then when you owe money later on, say that the money that the other person was paid via the partnership counts toward the new bill. Are u fucking high?

You made an agreement of 50/50. You didnt ask for any new promo material. You've admitted that. You cant at a later date come back and stop the 50/50 partnership, continue using the work and then when confronted about it say that you dont owe anything for using them because of the $$ you paid the partner for the initial agreement.

I know what you're saying. Fletch violated the partnership by not doing the additional promo banners therefor you dont owe him the $582. But one, you told him not too, and two, you cant pay someone for the patnership split and then later say the $$ went to someone else.

If I were you I would be happy with the $500 offer and be glad you're not being sued for thousands.

Do you have this original contract that says exactly what the $500 was for and what you would be getting for the 50/50 partnership? Also, id like to clear this lie up... he claims I "lost my ftp" so i could not make updates.

Not the case... I have his log in email in front of me and ftp login was changed and he loked me out.

ANyway, just thought it was funny this assghole had to email and brag about hangining with lensman in regards to this.

Donny has removed all banners and galleries and graphics.

There are still a few freesites with banners on them, but they will be addressed I am told.

He is still threatening to sue me, or at least he "may or may not"

I decided to not battle him lie for lie here and just let the paper handle it, so he took the stuff down (or in process of) - i know we all like our drama, but my intent with this thread was to get the stuff taken down. If he was going to pay me the $500 he would of did so initially, not hold off... so getting the stuff removed was the goal. He told so many blatant lies on the board and was busted in many, i feel there is no way to "win" on a board with people like that.

Anyhow, as of now this is done.

Just wanted to post about the closing of it so this can rest, and the threads are forever in history.

Im glad its all over. I learned my lesson the first time, and it was always in the back of my head that this deal would turn sour to.

Donny wants to rag on my conversions. Yet he used me on soooo many of his sites. I designed his first dynamic tour, his affiliate program, EVERY BANNER on his affiliate program was done by me, i have designed everyything the guy needed over the past 3 years, I think THAT says more than him bashing me after the fact. He hired me to design 9 solo girl sites, and much more!

I am moving forward with new plans and I hope others do the same.

You can't have it both ways: either this board has influence or it doesn't. If not, then these dramas are just a waste of time. But if people do pay attention, the vast majority of fights like this are going to cost both parties more than the sum at stake.

If someone really thinks he/she has been wronged and there are no jurisdictional issues to make it impractical, use the law. Any sponsor, designer or content provider with a decent business should have a lawyer on retainer and even if not, it doesn't usually take too much imagination to make a claim big enough to be worth pursuing. When the case is won, the C&D order effective, or whatever, make a simple announcement and then move on...

There are still a few freesites with banners on them, but they will be addressed I am told. He is still threatening to sue me, or at least he "may or may not" I decided to not battle him lie for lie here and just let the paper handle it, so he took the stuff down (or in process of) - i know we all like our drama, but my intent with this thread was to get the stuff taken down. If he was going to pay me the $500 he would of did so initially, not hold off... so getting the stuff removed was the goal. He told so many blatant lies on the board and was busted in many, i feel there is no way to "win" on a board with people like that. Anyhow, as of now this is done. Just wanted to post about the closing of it so this can rest, and the threads are forever in history. Im glad its all over. I learned my lesson the first time, and it was always in the back of my head that this deal would turn sour to. Donny wants to rag on my conversions. Yet he used me on soooo many of his sites. I designed his first dynamic tour, his affiliate program, EVERY BANNER on his affiliate program was done by me, i have designed everyything the guy needed over the past 3 years, I think THAT says more than him bashing me after the fact. He hired me to design 9 solo girl sites, and much more! I am moving forward with new plans and I hope others do the same. Good day all, and never let someone walk away with your money. Yet again we have two people demonstrating to potential customers and/or affiliates that neither of them acted very professionally: no clearly spelled out contract; misunderstandings on both sides about rights and responsibilities, with neither living up to what the other expected; and when everything goes pear-shaped, they start squabbling like schoolkids. You can't have it both ways: either this board has influence or it doesn't. If not, then these dramas are just a waste of time. But if people do pay attention, the vast majority of fights like this are going to cost both parties more than the sum at stake. If someone really thinks he/she has been wronged and there are no jurisdictional issues to make it impractical, use the law. Any sponsor, designer or content provider with a decent business should have a lawyer on retainer and even if not, it doesn't usually take too much imagination to make a claim big enough to be worth pursuing. When the case is won, the C&D order effective, or whatever, make a simple announcement and then move on...
