I generally am staying out of this as it doesnt entirely concern me. I was hired to do a job, i asked about my paramaters and I stayed within those parameters.
Here is what I will say though.
I dont know Fletch. I do know donny.
IN the time I've worked with him he's been pretty much upright on everything he's done and talked about having done. I cannot fathom sitting here and reading the other drama threads on this topic fast enough to keep up though I am desperately trying to.
If donny was as fair and upfront to fletch as he was to me then I dont have a clue where things fell apart. I"m pretty sure he was that upfront and fair.
In designing some things for the blog I presumed that if I ever walked away from the project all my creatives were going to become property of Donnys Money. Why wouldnt it? I cannot fathom why when I was ready to walk away I could take everything I put into the business with me. That's just not how it fucking works. It doesnt work that way in the 'real world' and I cannot imagine why it does in the adult world either.
As for the simple math of it, fletch seems to be grabbing every dime he can. I dont know much about fletch and probably never will but it would be sad if that's the case. especially for such a small sum.
Either way I think his tour was decent. I think the one we've worked on together is also decent. I can see why his stopped converting, it doesnt seem to have been udpated for a long time. The entire point of a dynamic tour is that it changes and remains dynamic, isnt it?
Just my 2 cents.
Fletch has asked that donny remove his creatives and stop using it and I cannot say that donny should or shouldnt do this. But I will say that if that is the choice he makes I will eagerly step up to plate and help him resolve that decision, and quickly replace the creatives. I'll also be glad to fill the hole left by removing these galleries by designing more of my own for our partnership. I was hired to do a job and I'll follow it through as instructed.
Until then its in donny's lap.
