1 hour a day = 2k month?
For some reason I don't buy that. There's no way a newbie can make $2k profit from 1 hour/day work. But I'll bite... Sign me up... |
I don't see what's so confusing.
I like having everything in one loaction, but I am still popping into the other things set up to see what's going on. I don't think it takes up THAT much time or energy. |
I cant wait til tomorrow, Im really anticipating what Goodgirl has to say....
nails gripping the edge of my seat riveted I am your clay....mold me :winkwink: |
Using Menus, Hierarchies, and Navigational Inter-Relationships to Achieve: User Self-Targetting Once you understand that good Web site design is about providing the User with choices that are understandable, and whose consequences are both predictable, instructive and rewarding, it becomes a simple matter to apply those principles to driving sales. Always assume that the user will proceed continuously from a starting point towards that which is most interesting or attractive to them. The most basic navigational structure is the Linear Sequence, illustrated below: In this arrangement, the User is presented with only one path (both forwards and backwards) and, because there are no Divisive Choices presented, is of limited effectiveness in driving sales. A Divisive Choice is a navigational opportunity that will separate traffic into two or more categories about which some information may be established based on that choice -- for example a doorway that is labeled "restrooms" will tell us something about the people who go through it, and then subsequent doorways labeled "men" and "women" will INCREASE the amount of information that is known about the user on a particular location/page as they go deeper. Well designed sites that make good use of this principle can accumulate extraordinarily deep targetting information, without the need for cookies or questionnaires. The below diagram show a structure that begins to offer more Divisive Choices, but is too "shallow". Users are forced into a linear structure that does not provide Divisive Choices and therefore does not provide tagetting information. The diagram below shows a site structure that is troubled in a different way. Here, the problem is too much choice, presented in a way that neither rewards the user by bringing them closer to what they want, nor provides the operator of the Site with valuable sales opportunities arising from the creation of self-targetted locations within the site. Ideally, what you want is to direct the User through a sequence of choices that will tell you who they are, what they want, and when the best moment to offer them a purchase opportunity is. The diagram below shows a balanced (not too shallow, not too deep) site structure, with an appropriate number of Divisive Choices and an excellent likelihood of creating high-value self-targetted User locations where purchase opportunities may be presented with the highest possible likelihood of success. When this design principle is applied correctly in the context of an e-commerce site, you have the best possible outcome of happy Users who are finding what they want, quickly, efficiently and with minimal difficulty, and a site that is converting as many Users as WOULD buy (if they find what they want) into buyers, and also as many as MIGHT buy (for providing the right Divisive Choices at the right time). I know you can only appreciate the power of this simple principle so much by looking at flat diagrams. So, I created a simple Web Site (with just one Divisive Choice) so you can navigate inside it as if you were a User yourselves, and have a deeper sense of the value of good design, both to User and Merchant. erm...what was decided with regards to the location of discussion groups ,etc? I joined yahoo, went to teentropic now to lustlook and I can tell you it`s getting pretty confusing.
I have to agree though that articles are better published in some sort of CMS (mambo is my fav,the *nukes are very inconsistent with regard to new releases and security issues) than a forum.A combination of both is the best IMHO. |

This is beginning to look like it is going to be quite the novel. I think it will have to be broken up into 4 or 5 entries just to fit. |

Very nice, where and when will the discussion be held?

Basic Content Optimization
Basic Content Optimization
First you will want to come up with a design for your site. Preferably something that shows some sexy content but has room for text content. A good way for beginners to start is to make a simple header image for the top of the page. The name of the site and maybe a picture of a sexy girl (or guy, depending on the niche). Place this on the page and use the rest of the page for text, links, some ads and maybe some thumbs. Now that was pretty simple. Before you go any further, put a link on the bottom of the page. This link should be Keyword Phrase Home or just Keyword Phrase (this is called ?anchor text?). Link that to the index page (or main page) of your site. Also, link the header image you just made to the index (or main page). Put in the alt tag?alt=keyword phrase. The top and bottom link text should not be the same phrase. Similar is fine. Examples: GFY, Go Fuck Yourself, GoFuckYourself, GoFuckYourSelf.com, Go Fuck Yourself Adult Webmaster Forum, Go Fuck Yourself Board, Go Fuck Yourself Porn Webmaster Board?Mix your keywords in your internal link structure with alt tags on images and anchor text. (Remember to do this when link building as well). The internal links I usually use 2-3 different phrases throughout my sites. Header Text Once you have the layout done, you can start laying out header text. Put keyword descriptions as Header Text 1 (set as H1 in the font settings) maybe right under your header image. Next put Header Text 2 (set as H2 in the font settings) in a text or picture area. Finally put Header Text 3 (set as H3 in the font settings) in the ad box on the side and ad box on the bottom of the page or other areas in your layout. Now if you don?t like the big text (which I don?t) you can pick a font and a smaller font size for these. CSS is nice for this as well. Meta Tags Place your Meta tags in the top of the page, just under the html tag. These will be your basic tags Title, Description and keywords. Some SE?s do not use the description tag all the time, but they do at times. Keyword Meta tags can be important with some engines, but not as much in the Major SE?s. But why deny any SE traffic you can get by excluding them? Many times just putting them in can help you focus your content to what keywords you are targeting. I usually do 4-8 keywords. Yahoo does love Title Tags, and does support, I believe, up to 120 characters in the Title tag. Many times if you are on page 2 with Yahoo, just adjusting the Title tag can push you up to page 1. Page Content Many already optimize the image content on their pages, this is a good. Load time can affect your rankings just like many other factors. By page content, I?m talking primarily about text. Include text descriptions of what your site is about. Make sure you use your keywords in the text. Example (sticking with some keywords like Site Name, porn board, adult forum, porn forum, adult forum, webmaster forum, etc): Go Fuck Yourself is the largest Adult Webmaster Forum. Stop by our popular porn board to learn more about building adult websites. At GoFuckYourself.com you will find the hardest working porn pimps bashing each other as well as helping one another. This paragraph has many good keywords in text content that makes sense to the reader. Some of the keywords were adult, webmaster, porn, board, forum, go fuck yourself, gofuckyourself.com, pimps and websites. Tips: Include text in your page content! Many times I see wonderful websites that are very appealing, have wonderful internal link structures, but lack text content. Try writing a little more about what you are selling. By selling I don?t mean selling sponsor's sites, let them do that. Sell your site. If your website is about porn, but different niches or categories, then sell each area of your site by simply explaining what a surfer will find when they click from your main page to your sub page. If you use many thumbs on your page, try using only 3-6 and add text with the thumb explaining to surfers what they will see if they click the thumb. Put anchor text in the descriptions. (Anchor text remember is the keyword text with a link to where they are going to go if they click). |
Internal Link Structure
Internal Link Structure
We have already gone over some basic internal linking in the content optimization. One thing to remember is to always link back to the main page of your website. Decide whether that page is your entry page or the page they go to if they click enter. Always link back to the page you pick. Site Map Create a sitemap and keep it updated. Link to every section and page you put on your domain. If you just build galleries everyday and don?t mess with AVS sites or free sites, making a sitemap and linking to your own galleries, plus listing them again after the warning page, should keep your galleries indexed. Also a blog could be a wonderful way to present your own galleries daily and keep them indexed. Tips: Don?t use keywords in your links for the page your building, use keywords for what the link is going to! If your main page theme is general porn, but the thumb or link is about blowjobs, use blowjob keywords. Try other maps of your website! Product Map If you sell products, then make a product map for your site as well. Link to any pages you build that are just for the products. Also, link to the buy pages. So you have a link directly to your page, but then have a ?buy product now? link as well. Buy pages can be either your own store buy page if you own the store or, to the sponsors buy page. If someone is looking for a jackrabbit vibrator and lands on your product map, why not try to send them directly to the page they can buy from. (Hint: try using keywords that would match someone wanting to buy! Example: buy jackrabbit vibrator (as your anchor text). Someone searching for ?buy jack rabbit vibrator? is ready to buy now! Someone searching for jack rabbit vibrator may just want to see what it looks like. Sometimes terms less searched for are not only easier to rank for, but convert much better! Niche Map If you have several niches on your domain. Make a map of all your niches, link to each niche. You can even have separate niche maps if you have too many. Link to every map you build on all your pages. Link back to the main index from all pages. If your site is small and you can link to every page on every page, then do it. Thinking of it as showing the most unfamiliar surfer how to get around your site. You know, the one that thinks [email protected] is a website or a link is the blue words that they can click. If they can find it, then a bot can too (assuming you are not using a script that bots can?t index). |
Basic Linking Building
Basic Linking Building
Find sites to submit your website to or trade links with. There are many ways to find link trades or websites to submit to. Some are webmaster boards, friends, search engines and directories. Search Engines are a great place to find sites you can request a trade with or submit to. Try searching for the keyword your site is themed for, like add url+keyword, or submit link+keyword, etc. Directories are an excellent source to find sites that are in the same niche as your own. Try contacting the owner to get a link trade going. Create a List Whenever you do any research for link building, create a list of the sites you find. You have spent valuable time finding these sites; this is time you can save later. You can create this list in Excel, html or Word. Whatever program you feel comfortable using. I do prefer Excel because I can add notes easily and add new tabs for different niches or unique sites I find. Filter Your Link Building List Okay; now I know you are thinking, what the hell is she talking about? Filter my list? Filter it for what? Well filter it for IP?s is the first step. Use IP Reportto find out if your list has separate Class C IP?s. IP Report is free to use, and you can find duplicate IP?s easily. There are other ways I?m sure but this site is the one I use. Organize Your Link Building List Once you have gone through your list, you can move some trades or links with the same class C IP to the bottom of your list. Why to the bottom? Well this time you probably won?t submit to them, but for another site later on you might use them. Prioritize your list, submit to all the places that are on different class C IP?s first. Submit to any that you know you will get traffic from as well. Save Your Link Building List This list is a time saving tool for you in the future, so save it! Good luck with building your own valuable link building list. Tips: Check out the site that you are asking for links from. Make sure they aren?t using any type of script on their links. Directories or top lists that track clicks are usually not worth the time if you are looking for links for SEO purposes. Also, sites that are scripts that spiders can?t index won?t be great for link building purposes. A link with many variables like: http://site.com/script.cgi?variable=...e&site=thatone probably isn?t getting indexed so a link on that page to your site probably isn?t going to help you much. Anchor text for links you are building (you know the external links, the ones that you are getting to link to your site). Mix the anchor text up! I don?t know how many times a person has asked me why they are sandboxed or how come they have 1,000?s of links to their site but are still on page 10 on Google. My first question to them is usually, "what text are you using in the links to you?" They usually say their keyword phrase. I tell them to vary that, they tell me, "No I heard to use that." I tell them to vary that. They tell me they don?t think that is it. Then 3-4 weeks later they are still not sure what the problem is. I tell them the same thing I said before. They finally give that a try, and their rankings start to rise. Example, if you are going for Adult Toys, instead of building all your links with the term ?adult toys? try varying that with Adult Toy Store, Adult Toy Stores, Sex Toys, Adult Sex Toys, Sex Toy Store, AdultToys, SexToys, etc. (another hint, easy rankings are usually misspelled words and phrases with no spaces!) I usually do 50-60% for my main keyword and vary the other 40-50%.
