I've never set foot in a strip club to recruit models. I do a lot of recruiting, and I spend a lot of money doing it. I use a network of model recruiters, and a network of newspaper ads. Before I answer I'd just like to point out that my real name isn't CD Smith.

For me it was always like this:
I would get talking with a girl, she would tell me her name. Let's say it was "Blaze".... okay, fine. Blaze it is. I know that at some point in the process, if she ever was to work with me, she would HAVE to supply credentials, driver's license, birth certificate, something with her real name on it. So it never bothered me at all, I actually prefer to call all the girls by their stage name, it always made it easier for me. Stage names just seem to be easier to remember than real names, especially if you're recruiting dozens or hundreds of women.

I've done some big butt modeling, and I've had two "photographers" or "webmasters" try to arrange a shoot with me that just felt shady, so I chose to walk away before getting in over my head.
