Ok.. well I guess going with site profits wasn't the best route to take, lol.

Regardless I'm still going to hold that good SE traffic still out converts good TGP traffic.

Also it doesn't matter that TGP's recieve SE traffic. The traffic is more potent and fresh straight off the SE. Once they've hit a TGP it's potency all ready starts to dilute. Just my opinion.

once again - bad statement. all depends on the site you're promoting. some sponsers convert better with SE - some better with TGP - some a mix. you're only able to speak from your own experience, you don't really know anyone else's.


a statement like that makes everyone here think you're company isn't capable of converting TGP traffic... and not every company is. it's one of the reasons why companies like nasty dollars and others like them expoled in the last few years - they filled a niche many of the larger more established paysites couldn't in the TGP marketplace.

TGP's make more money than most SEO sites....go the TGP route. SE sites are good too not as good as TGP's!!!! i have personal experience with both.

Ok, I'll give you that. I am only speaking from my personal experience. I mainly play the SE game and haven't done any TGP experimenting it years.

Ouch big time on me.... I'm "trying" to speaki from MY personal experience with MY personal traffic and this has nothing to do with how Hustler or Vivid converts. I don't want this to be a reflection of how those sites convert.

I do see you're point though and understant that the Nasty Dollars etc.. of the world filled a void in the TGP market.

Let's aggree on this though... it still comes down to volume. Regardless of which converts better...there's far more people with large TGP's than big SE players. And that's simple cause SE traffic is much harder to get...especially in volume (at an affordable profitable price).

You can't make blanket statements on either. It really depends on the sort of traffic you have to deal with. TGP and SE aren't mutually exclusive.

You're very wrong with this. SE traffic in large volume isn't hard to get as long as you have the resources necessary to build it.

i agree in doing what WORKS for you and you're doing that. I've always told people to do JUST THAT.

i don't know if i'd agree that there are more large income earning TGPs than SE players - SE incumpusas soo much more than just adult - and there's soo many consulting businesses in SE - there has to be a LOT of major players there - I'd BET more than large TGPs but that's a guess and i honestly don't know.

i get upwards of 70-100K se traffic a day some days on just sleazydream....and i've never targeted seach engines. some guys have and they do MUCH better with SE traffic.

Well there's regular SE listing results and PPC results.

Besides PPC traffic and outright buying it... regular se listings are hard to manipulate.

Even with PPC you can outright buy a huge volume...but will you make more than it cost?... PPC is historically difficult to master.

I wish i was a TGP guru.
I am a SE guru for sure but even though I get well over 800,000k a day of free SE traffic that is well qualified,I only make between $35-$40 G a month .
If someone is a tgp guru and wants to combine the 2, send me a email.

Couple of years ago I always did over 35k a month with Maxcash just working SE traffic by myself.
Buggered if I can do that now in adult though, most SE guys I know now deal in a mix of adult and non adult. Non adult programs have come a long way and its now possible to make good $$$ there fairly easily. For my time spent I can make more in non adult now than adult by far. Biggest problem has been scaling the traffic, while my loans traffic converts at 1/8 @ 12.50 a lead its very hard to get decent traffic if it exists at all, get a 1000 hits a day in this area and you doing well.
Google adsense has sort of blown this all away because suddenly there are vast areas of traffic that were previously pretty unprofitable that are now huge sources of income.

Search engines are a lot smarter now as well so while you can still get to the top pretty easy for any given term trying to scale this over 100's, of domains and pages is getting extremely hard and trying to maintain those positions for any length is even harder.

So when it comes to adult, and as a SE guy, I say TGP's would be making more at present but keep in mind anyone I know who's worth there weight in SEO is making there $$$ from multiple areas now

I agree.Adsense has definetly made it easier to earn decent money mainstream though Google keeps turning the knob up on their tracking to make less financially worthwhile as it was.And though the principle is the same for se's whether its adult kws or mainstream kws, its easier to buy pr for mainstream sites and hiding links from expired domains to adult sites is pretty much now short term.

You're forgetting one thing.... traffic a few years ago was capable of making more money per surfer than traffic is capable of now.

Remember the old sex.com? It was just a bannerfarm and they banked massive amounts of money from that.

I'm willing to bet that the quality of SE traffic has decreased at a slower rate than the quality of TGP traffic. Anybody want to be me?

There is NO TGP that has 300K / day plus TGP traffic.
The only TGP that was anywhere near the 100K / day in SE traffic in recent times was smashingthumbs.com, and now they're banned in google.

The only sites that even reach anywhere near the 100K / day pure SE traffic are link lists, and even then you can count the number of LL's with that much SE traffic on just a single hand.

If you don't mind, let me ask you a question so I can get an idea of how far ignorant you are of the volume of SE traffic on the net.

How much traffic a day do you think that the #1 listing for the term "porn," arguably the most searched for adult term on the net, gets per day from either google or yahoo?

1K? 10K? 100K?

Take a guess smart guy, and show the experience SE workers how little you really know.

What only matters is what you get as individual. The basic difference between TGP gurus, SE gurus, and mail gurus is that you can easily spot the first ones. When it comes to SE traffic and mailing there are a lot of bullshiters, small to average players that pass you the impression they can do miracles and get a shitload of traffic which doesnt happen.

considering that my good friend who has 1/10th the traffic that i do in SE and makes roughly 8 times what i do in tgp's, i would say that SE's make more. getting hits from SE's isn't easy, but if you get the hits AND have the marketing to convert, they will dominate any TGP that has 10 times the traffic.

sleazy doesnt make much money with sleazydream.com....he probably makes most of his money with paysites and galleries submitting....there are TGP guys with huge networks of TGPs who make LOTS and LOTS more than sleazy. Trust me

Sleazydream gets a lot of traffic from SEs BUT it's not from terms like "porn" or "hardcore" or "petite brunettes". It's from surfers looking for his TGP so they search for stuff like "sleazydream" or "sleazy dream tgp". This ALSO means that SE traffic like that is worth much less than SE traffic looking for "mature moms" etc. You could say that his SE traffic is as good (or as bad) as his TGP traffic.

Good point, technically traffic seaching for "sleazy dream" is search engine traffic - but then again it's traffic that was already at sleazy's site before so it's not high quality SE traffic. Also, I'm willing to bet some money that Sleazy gets maybe than 10-20K of *** low quality *** SE traffic per day. 10-15K of low quality SE traffic isn't bad (thought it won't make much money overall), but it's not even 1/3 the value of **high quality** SE traffic (high quality, for example, could be pretty much any search involving the work "porn", except "free porn")

So in conclusion, Sleazy still gets dick for SE traffic, yet he speaks like he's some sort of knowledgeable guru

People who just optimise for SE's, some probably have periods where they'd go close to TheHun, but that income stream is no where near as safe.
