Somebody that works SE correctly can have couple dozen if not hundread thousands of quality hits a day ... compared to crappy freeloaders ...

Myself and Sleazy already did this in Gimli two weeks ago. We have two entirely different business models. Plus our traffic numbers are staggeringly different in size and type.

With that said, I agree with Kush, SE people should not share numbers :)

It's a known fact that SE traffic is more potent than TGP traffic but it all comes down to volume. Would you rather have 1000 SE hits with a 1/100 ratio (10 joins) or 20,000 TGP hits with a 1/1000 ratio (20 joins)?

SE traffic rocks...but the trick and hard part is being able to get it in high volumes.

stupid question, as many tgps own paysites and get revenue and traffic from SE and seperating it would be difficult. also pure TGP traffic from any good tgp has a major SE component to it.

anyone who thinks there really is a difference and that's it's seperatable has MAJOR blinders on and really doesn't have a clue about how to make real money in an online business in today's marketplace.

I tried both but to be honest, the one that made me m... mo money in short term was tgp, but after being patient with one of my site (gambling) and listening to an SE Pro i can defenitly tell you that the long run is good as well....

At the end of the day The sponsor i tried on TGP is the one that made the difference i could of tried someone and did shit..

Just like the SE with my gambling site, I could of picked up a sponsor that shave like crazy and have a bad experience with my SE traffic...

The biggest of both do very fucking well. So toss a coin and focus your energy into one and make some cash.

SE guys have less reason to go to conventions so depending on your social level that could drive the decision.

Yes it would be difficult to seperate. But the simple matter still is that TGP traffic is a mixture of varous traffic sources both foreign and domestic. Some TGP traffic converts well and some doesn't. SE traffiic overal is more pure and overal when targeted correctly will on average always convert at a lower ratio than TGP.

Re-read my post above. Simple matter is that SE traffic overal is more potent and will out convert TGP traffic. If for any other reason because it's more pure, better targeted and therefore easier to sell. Of courese whom you sell it too also makes a difference.. so of course if you sell it to your own paysites you'll make more of it. But to keep things simple lets just say selling it to a sponsor for $35-$40 a sale. All things equal, SE traffic will convert easier.

But bottom line TRAFFIC is king and very few people can actually pull off high volume SE traffic while TGP traffic is much easier to do. Therefore I think there's more top TGP players than there are top SE players.

Plain and simple, bottom line revenue is what talks. If you can get a super high volume of TGP traffic and get major sales that's a whole lot better than a handfull of good SE traffic that only got you a few sales.

Now don't quote me on this, but I remember a few years ago how a major TGP site owner came to my sponsors board and talked about how his site made $35K monthly. So I'm taking a guess here that top TGP sites make $30k - $50K monthly. Think that number sounds about right sleazy? What about someone like The Hun? What would guess his monthly earning are? Over $100K?

Now I could be completely off base, but if my above numbers are correct, then right now I know at least 2 top SE guys making more than that....

it takes alot more investment to make money (big traffic money) with search engines than tgps, using legit long term methods anyway

but i imagine the hardcore se guys wouldn't do it if it wasn't worth it

maybe - but i make no assumptions on your income yet you make assumptions - and false ones - on mine and all TGPs from your statement.

The assumption of income was made based off a post on the Maxcash board 2 years ago from the owner of a large TGP. I believe it was World Sex but I don't remeber exactly since it was 2 years ago.

He SPECIFICALLY said his TGP made $35K monthly.
