Why is saying "I think your films are badly made" make me sad and bitter?

I would be more worried if I watched a terrible movie and then lied about it.

I regret that there is no serious discussion here on real erotic film making. There does not seem to be any serious film makers here at all.

After all the technology means that cinema quality video can be shot for a reasonable cost.

Maybe it is to late, the race to the bottom has happened or more likely that people here do not have anything interesting to say about sex. Just shoot one more scene like the million they shot before, to swamp the Internet with the same banality.

I suppose it is nice, for you, that porn is a small pond, where you can pretend to be a big fish. It may make you happy but the converse is not true, it does not change my emotional state.

If you still don't understand my points about lenses and resolution, when you next hire lenses for your film ask to see their test room. The will show you a lens projector which checks how the lens resolves.

Lens resolution the ability of a lens to reproduce detail. To which the there practical result and there is a limit due to the laws of physics, so there will not be 8K 16K 32K ad invinitum

The ability of a lens to resolve detail, just like 4k is factor in the over all quality of the motion picture image, a factor amongst many many many others.

The point about that film "Monsters" is;

It was shot with a smaller budget than your film.

It was shot with just a Sony EX 3.

It looks better than your film. Its acted better than your film. it is a better film.

Therefore? 2 + 2 =

People shoot with 60 year old Nikon lenses on Red Epics at 6k all the time. Are you really that clueless? Trust me I know what I am talking about too. The image looks fine in the cinema and at the end of the day that is all that counts.

Not to mention even cheap Canon EOS kits you can buy at Best Buy shoot images that are higher than 4k. SMH
