Yeh, but they aren't saying the whole story. A group of peace protestors caused all sorts of commotion at this mall. So when they saw this guy they thought it was the protesters coming in to start trouble again and they asked him to leave the property and he refused.

Use your head, if you can. News articles always leave facts out because their objective is to draw controversy and attention.

For one it's private property. If they tell you to leave, you are required to LEAVE or get arrested. Comprende? Look on the bottom of the article:

I'd also like to ban people wearing American flags from my mall. Why? I don't like them. Just applying the same rule that they did for the peace sign.

The guy with the shirt will win in court. The shirt was not offensive -- any judge can see that. The fact that the son co-operated by removing his shirt -- evading arrest -- shows that it was only the shirt in question, not any mis-conduct! This father and son team had it all planned from the beginning... they will win in court because it was proven by the son's removing of his shirt that this arrest was only due to the shirt. The mall will not be able to prove that the shirt is offensive. Case closed.

We don't really know for sure if anyone was disrupting business, or if the guy with the shirt was even a part of the previous allegations of a disruption... Where's the proof? How many of these shirts were sold? For all you know this father/son team bought the shirts somewhere else...
